I’m actually waiting for my SPB105J1 to arrive as I’m watching this video. Just last week I picked up a brand new SLA047J1 limited edition MM300 and am blown away by the quality and awesomeness of this watch .

As someone else mentioned, old video but still good to check out. I have or have had pretty much every Glock model yet all my 40’s have been G22 and G27 for some reason. My main edc is a G20 and G29, so hearing that 40S&W is “too much” doesn’t mean much to me. Wheel dumping a 500 regularly keeps other calibers in perspective. So I ran across a Gen 4 G23C the other day and haven’t seen many C models, so I grabbed it. I think I’m really going to like this gun with the right ammo. I turned all my G22’s into Go Bag or SHTF kits for myself and wife because they also have the 357sig barrels and 9mm conversion barrels, plus full spare parts/spring kits all together. That’s a damn good package for a relatively low cost. Highly recommend checking into that option. I do prefer to swap the ejector even though it’s not completely necessary, and I also tossed the proper 9mm extractor in the kit as well but have never actually bothered to use them since they run fine without. Those are one minute swaps that only make the ejection pattern better. But I think that impulse buy on the 23C may work it’s way into my carry rotation. It’s a little short for my hand but I’ve found a few base plates that should even that out just right. Unfortunately now this has me looking at these newly designed 40 cal Glocks in Gen 5! Lol. So far I’m hearing all good things. My first thought is the beefier metal means we should now have a “40+P” to push the new envelope once again. Fully support that barrel! A round of 40 hitting about 600 ft lbs from a 4” barrel, sounds interesting to me! Let’s have it Underwood?

40cal gen 5 would be great. I heard good things and really you just can't go wrong with glock. I carry it sometimes. Also a sig 9mm, ruger sp101 and others. You made a good buy on that glock and I love the 357, 9mm setup. I will be looking into that for sure. Thanks for your good info a feedback. Truly appreciate that!!👍🏻👊🏻

Protection against what? I never once had any crown pop out accidentally on me and a crew down crown is a wear item that needs to be replaced every 10 or so years and it also fucks with the gaskets.

Nice review.I'm usually not interested in yellow, however the sundials in black and other little nuances that only watch people notice make this an eye catcher. I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and get one.👍💀

Oh Sweet! I'm sure you won't be disappointed. One of the best things about these solar watches is, set it and forget it. The Pwr reserve is wonderful, and literally no maintenance. Seiko does use screw-down crowns on diver chronographs. I assume they think the extra cost is not warranted for a non diver watch.

actually, i love the lack of AR coating. it makes the watch look much better IMO, and does not affect legibility at all. the only thing i would change would be the see through case back and a screw down crown. if they ever release a model like that i would flip this one and buy it in a heartbeat. it's already almost a perfect watch and gonna stay on my wrist hopefully forever.

Hi I enjoyed your video. My father passed, and he had this watch that I currently now on. I am having issues trying to set the day. I know it has something to do with the knob. You pull out to actually set the time and the date, but for some reason I can’t get the day to move. Do you have any suggestions or can you show me a video on how to move the actual day on the watch? Hello and thank you. Yes pull the crown out 1 click that should adjust date and the whole way out for time. To change the battery with no hassle I'd take it to the local jewelry shop and they can change it for you fast and inexpensive. Thanks for watching!!!👍🏻⌚️
