what scale cars do u use?

I have visited the original ET&WNC ROW many times. At 02:15 the Warren Truss Bridge shown is still in use today as a paved 1-lane road called "Old Railroad Grade Rd." You can take a beautiful drive along the Doe River by turning off of Hwy. 19E/37 at the Bowling Chapel. The bridge is located at 36D 14'08N-82D 09'17W on Google Maps. After passing the bridge the road turns to dirt & gravel so you would need 4-wheel drive to continue any further exploration of the old ET&WNC grade. @ 01:46 is "Pardee Point" which is a real life scenic overlook from the original ET&WNC grade. It is also accessible by a reconstructed 3ft. gauge RR operated by the Doe River Gorge Ministries and they go thru 2 tunnels to Pardee Point. I believe they are open to visitors on Saturdays for a short window of operation, otherwise it is all private rides. There are some videos of the operation here on KZfaq. Don't forget to visit the Tweetsie RR and see the last surviving ET&WNC steam engine in operation as well as some E.B.T narrow gauge equipment they operate. The scenery on this layout is just outstanding and very prototypical. @05:38 is the Cranberry Iron mine which is the entire reason the real railroad was built to serve. The mine models are truly a work of art. This model RR is a classic example of where less is better when it comes to the amount of trackage verse highlighting the scenery.

I consider this prototype modeling. My panel is based on a US&S protype panel using custom made components. The panel design is the way real CTC was done starting in 1949 on the Clinchfield and other US railroads.

An interesting signal and points switch. I control everything via DCC and radio.

Update on my O scale Virginia Southwestern Layout. I have the upper level built and I'm doing scenery on it and installing CTC Signals. This shows the Boody passing track and Boody yard. I'm modeling the Clinchfield Railroad from SE Trammel to Kingsport with Trammel, Dante yard, Boody with hanging rock, St Paul, Clinch river, Miller Yard, Hardwood, Starnes, Copper Creek, Speers Ferry and Kingsport yard for staging on the lower level. The Atlas GP7s are custom painted and detailed and have Loksound decoders from the new run of Atlas GPs. IM modeling the late 50s so its mostly GPs and F units for power. I model the N&W out of St Paul with a line to a tipple, kind of like the Dumps Creek branch where Clinchfield had trackage rights but also N&W interchanged coal and freight at Boody yard. Also on the lower level I plan to add a line that models the Southern Railway that runs from Appalachia, VA down under Copper Creek to Speers Ferry connecting into Kingsport with Waycross but it will be loop to loop. I hope to add the Natural tunnel under the big peninsula and run a coal train on the Southern line for scenery mostly. I converted my Western Maryland layout to go back to Clinchfield and get some N&W which is getting back to my roots of modeling Clinchfield. I started the layout in 2017 but switched to O scale in 2019 but have made a lot of changes to the plan to get a more prototypical layout. I just love all your videos I've seen em all at least twice! Clinchfield and southern railway are some of my favorite railroads! Your layout is absolutely outstanding looks so realistic looks exactly like the clinchfield railroad did you do some awesome modeling and videos keep em coming my friend there awesome!!
