really wish you didnt jump cut the most important part of the lane here.. Trying to successfully 3 stack into him is by far the hardest part for me. Game basically feels lost if i half crash or dont get shove

Yo love this guide seriously! I was wondering about late game macro in matchups where you’re taking ignite, how do you handle lane assignments when baron is spawning? Are you still playing to create pressure bot side, or are you staying on the strong side of the map if your mid takes TP? Would love more in depth breakdowns of lane matchups like you showed in this video -they were hella helpful

Thanks man! In matchups where I take ignite, there's things you need to play differently. If baron/elder are spawning soon, I just run straight to them usually. The best is if you can push side lane around 1:30 before obj spawn and then rotate.

Thanks for the video, very informative. Some feedback though, it felt like you skipped forward too many times in the VOD review sections and it was quite disorienting to watch at times. It would be nice to hear more thought process regarding when and why you want to push the lane, when and why you want to freeze, etc. You mentioned 3rd wave crashes, it might be good to understand when and why you do a 3rd wave crash, and so on.

I build both in different scenarios - never build them together. I generally like rav more b/c of waveclear and better sustain

Haha I have a pretty hefty PC, it's got i7 13700k. GPU is only RX 5600 XT but CPU more important for league

good video. but garen should always take conqueror in this matchup. phase rush against jax is mega trolling. against phase rush garen jax doesnt struggle as much.

@@ttab1728 I quit playing for the summer man otherwise I would. But take grasp and play safe early. You can win after first base with sheen and grasp w procs. After that just play for team fights, unless you’re ahead riven just wins

I been trying to get gold for like 6 years on my own. I have access to a plat account and I feel the games are almost as easy as each other cause teammates are more useful more often. i main mundo and morde and have 64% winrate on both but i would pickup and learn jax as a third pick if I could learn from you or even have access to a short coach session. Would pay a little for top knowledge.

Ravenous Hydra allows him to out sustain harass champs which in turn makes it harder for them to all in him. Sundered Sky makes his normal trading better but it doesn't fix Jax's weakness to poke.

absolutely love this format. as a returning player (barely played since about S5) the game has completely changed so taking the opportunity to jump from a support main to a top main seeing as i have to relearn the game anyway. Really appreciate the classroom session at the start as well as explaining your thinking during the games, as a lot of "guides" are just arrogant, humblebraggy gameplay of them getting an early kill and snowballing rather than actually explaining the details.

I'm glad you mentioned the "no Jax jokes" comment at the start. As someone who has loved Jax since S1 it is legit painful to see how the discourse around Jax has turned into really gross jokes acting like Jax himself is somehow the same as some infamous people who are known to main him. I definitely think your comments about the keystone runes were perfect. With how many ranged top laners I see now, talking about Fleet was a really important mention. Great video in general man, instantly subbed.
