I find that everything that you see in the store is labelled as "Cream Cheese Product?" What the hell does that even mean? It means that whatever that label is slapped on it's not real cream cheese because real cream cheese is made with milk, some variety of acid, and salt. That's it. Today, they add all kinds of filler ingredients and it's not real.

I know that some people are allergy sensitive. Can I just use regular flour instead? I don’t have special tools to create my own flour.

@SurvivalHT I have a couple of questions. I am just starting out learning how to make sourdough bread. The video on the starter was very helpful, and is resulting in my first successful starter, so thank you!!!!! So, my questions are about making the bread. Did you warm up the milk mixture before adding it to the flour? If so, to what temperature? Also, would you mind telling me how long the rise times were? I know it can vary, but it sure would help if I had at least an idea. Thank you so much! ❤

Mine has been sitting for about 3 days. I have bubbles but zero rise. I had hooch on day 2 that I mixed in, but no activity. I know you said it could take a week or two. Hoping that this method with einkorn finally works. I’ve attempted this about 3x without any luck. 😢

I didn't realize there was so much to flour alone. This is good education, I just started my bread making journey and I am very concerned with the quality of flour I use, so this is great... a bit overwhelming too since I'm new at it. I definitely appreciate the old method of making bread, I tried making sourdough starter using the modern method and got very frustrated so I had to toss it all and figured I'll figure it out later, while I tried a different recipe. Anyways... thank you, great channel!

I watch videos where many people keep discarding over and over and they make lovely videos but I CANNOT THROW AWAY GOOD FLOUR.....I cannot, period. I cannot waste this. So I have to do it your way, as no way am I throwing away perfectly good flour that can make another loaf of bread or biscuits or gravy or even a pizza or a cake, so I'm with you. subscribed and saved for future reference. thanks so much!

Thank you for such a simple way to make a sourdough starter! I love this way it is so easy and no waste. I have had great success with your method. I used rye flour and store bought yogurt with active cultures and caraway seed. After the 3rd day I had bubbles. But waited for 5 days and i had a rise about half from the startup. I made sourdough loaf bread and it came out delicious. Thank you so much for this amazing sourdough starter! I was always intimidated with the discarding method. Thank you for sharing your method of no waste of throwing out the extra starter. Your method is so easy to start and keep up, that I'm no longer intimidated. Thank you!
