Artemi Panarin saw the writing on the wall, and was not silent. It took a tremendous amount of courage. As I write this the most pro and anti Putin Russian athletes (Panarin & Ovechkin) are meeting in the playoffs - end of April 2024. The Rangers should win, but what is a hockey win, when Putin has spearheaded an effort that has killed so many fighting for democracy? Barely any hockey press covers this issue.

He doesn't lean on his stick to flex it. He opens his hips towards the target which creates rotational force to whip the stick.

Yea so does Bedard...but he kinda bends his knees, if u watch him practice off ice he can fire rockets without even stepping into it. I think that's what a lower flex comes into play.

Draisaitl was a steal of a deal for the Oilers on his last contract,but with a year and a half left he has the Oilers by the short and curlies..
