I'm late but the algo just showed me your channel today and I love your edits. So when Lady Danbury said "the pieces fall into place," it's because she was wondering why the princess suddenly was accepting Black people into the ton. Once she realised the king was marrying a Black woman, she understood that was why. It would've been sus to have no Black people as part of society's elite when the queen is Black. :)

I honestly associate this to being popular with millennials. In 2006 I was in my late teens. I constantly re watch for a sense of nostalgia. Having grown up with a single mom who also had me at 16 I related to them and their bond as mother/daughter. We kinda grew up together and i still refer to my mother as having been my best friend in existence

When did being best friends amd romantic become mutually exclusive. Those are often the best relationships. Like Belly is totally comfortable with Jere because he listens to her and the communicate. They have inside jokes and genuinely are always having fun.

Not to defend jess at the beginning because he was certainly an asshole, but as a teenage there was nothing that bother me more than that kind of condescending, "I got you", really trying to "understand you" thing lorelai was doing in the porch. I am not saying she was wrong, or that jess had any right to say the thing he say, in fact now I can see her kind intentions, but as a moody teen, I 100% saw jess' point. 😅

Well no, he’s probably bored af. Vampires are… allegedly brutal killers (though I don’t see evidence of it in this movie, since they all seem chill about blood, except Jasper; even the baddies don’t seem to eat that much that often), so. 🤷🏻♀️ Might as well go on some kookie goose chase.
