Thank you for this explanation about pull compensation. I own a Brother PE770 and I have issues my finished result. I have an egg shape object with a black outline that is touching the egg shape. However, when I run it through and it embroiders, there is a gap between the egg shape and the black outline, whereas, on the software it shows no gaps at all. Will increasing the pull compensation help my issue? I'm using Floriani Total Control U. Also, I use tear away stabilizer on the bottom and a water solvent one on top. Thanks! Great video. I do a lot of bath towels and semi- thin kitchen towels , I just did a split lettering on a bath towel came out ok, but it seem to be just a little sunk in. what would be your % recommendations on these.

I am so glad you wrote this, but I have a question - I just got the microsoft surface and I can't seem to get it to do the right click necessary - even with the keyboard - to bring up the edit/shape possibility in floriani. It should work, I think - any ideas?

I used Inkscape to convert my jpeg to eps, but when I try to open the eps in FTC, it comes up blank. I don't have AI. Do you know why it wouldn't be showing my image?

Nevermind I have figured it out using the Backdrop tool which uploads the picture like a non-vector Jpeg in the background to be embroidered over. I have done some fun things with this awesome program. Thank you for getting in touch with me.

I don't convert my image files to Vector, but instead upload it. Is it possible just to do that with .jpeg/.png?
