I hear there is a new trend coming... yea.. Dual Snorkels... It is reported this new trend is coming out of Bulgaria... AND.. the IRs is allowing a tax deduction for the installation of Dual Snorkels to combat Climate Change.

Where did you mount the relay? I didn't catch that on the video
@TrailsideTalks7 күн бұрын
To be honest, I did not, yet. Currently just the bright whites are connected. I will have, in the near future, a follow-up video where I connect the other 3 modes to the Auxbeam switch. That will include the addition of a couple relays in order to only allow the same options that the 2 bulky switches allow by design.

I didn’t mean relay but the circuit breaker box. That’s my error

I just tugged it away under the Auxbeam block.

20:10 I have the Basecamp. She's right about fully controlling the flame. Unlike a lot of propane stoves, this unit allows for quite fine adjustment of the flame. Great video!

Thank you! The Basecamp is on my wish list, but for now I am doing ok with my flimsy Coleman... until it falls apart... which might be sooner than later.

Do the instructions actually require bench assembly complete? Seems more straightforward to get it on the ba Ed asap
@TrailsideTalksАй бұрын
I chose table/bench assembly since it seem easier to me until all parts are fully lined up and torqued down. Up to that point everything is just a bit wobbly. The fine tuning of the AXS and panels is best done when everything is on the bed.

Insane high prices, they can keep their overpriced junk.
@TrailsideTalksАй бұрын
Some vendors seem a bit overpriced, I must agree.
@Sentry1835Ай бұрын
Price's are definitely up..... No doubt about it Other than the national inflation index affecting all sector's of our economy..... The Overland Expo Booth prices are up year over year as overlanding becomes more mainstream and popular, also booth insurance ( mandatory) adds to additional costs

1.9 k views in 3 days congratulations 🎉 Can you do a installation video on your roof top tent ⛺
@TrailsideTalksАй бұрын
As soon as I have a RTT I can install, I will start recording.
@dysfunctionalveteranforlifeАй бұрын
Would you recommend going through the firewall? Im thinking of placing the controller on the dash.
@TrailsideTalksАй бұрын
If you install it on your dash, I would go through the firewall as well. There should be plastic grommet on the driver side you can use. I will install, soon, a Midland radio and probably have to route the antenna cable through the firewall as well.

They don't have install video of there own?
@TrailsideTalks2 ай бұрын
They have one. But it doesn't cover exactly which parts go where and how to install the hinges.

Any issues with it being too bright driving at night?
@TrailsideTalks2 ай бұрын
Not at all! The blue LED's don't bother at all. It is very dim, even less noticeable when you put the stickers on.
@frankpulliam84452 ай бұрын
@@TrailsideTalks Thanks! I ended up getting the 6 gang and it’s fine as long as it’s not directly in my field of view. I put it in the middle of the dash.

That's a nice watch your wife is wearing. Is it a Samsung ? Audio is in and out, should buy a wireless mic. Beautiful scenic backdrops ❤
@TrailsideTalks7 ай бұрын
Sorry about the audio. After we packed up, I realized that the directional microphone was still connected. My wife's watch is a Garmin.

Hi, I would like to know the dimensions of the main pipe, are 2 inches or 2.5 ?
@TrailsideTalks8 ай бұрын
All bars/cross-members are 3" x 1.5" x the length needed for application.
@Sentry18358 ай бұрын
Nice tutorial. Have you experienced any side effects from the light bar Wind noise or lower fuel economy ? Who's the person in your intro standing in the garage?
@TrailsideTalks8 ай бұрын
The only side effect right now is that we can't stop playing with it at night. So far I didn't recognize any wind noise or whistling sounds. As far as fuel economy goes, I haven't had too many driven miles since the install. I'll keep an eye on it! The person in the garage is my wife, Tori.

Thank you! I admit, it is a bit long, but I tried to capture every piece of information that will make the install easier for the next person.
