Suica is back at major train stations' JR East Travel Service Centres in Tokyo for those that dare venture to Tokyo from the airports on paper tickets. They've been back since December last year. It's also worth noting JR Pass is almost never worth it anymore for the average traveler.

I went last year in October and your vlogs have been pretty nice. I've never seen "countryside" Japan. It seems pretty much like an average town/city than like the western notion of like farmland and stuff which isn't a bad thing. My only experience has been Asakusa Tokyo and DenDen Town Osaka in October
