Wouldn't this only fix if the electric start wasn't working? How about the pull start? The generator would have started regardless if that solenoid was faulty or not, right? Im just trying trouble shoot mine. -Champion 9375/7500W -Sit for 2 years with full tank - Wont pull start or electric start -Im hoping bad/old gas?
@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm16 күн бұрын
Sat for two years, I would change out the gas. Electric or Pull start - Either way, the solenoid has to work to provide the correct fuel that you selected, Gas or LP. Sometimes the solenoid gets stuck in LP, by tapping the solenoid, it'll un-stuck the solenoid into Gas Mode, then should start in Gas Mode.
@TheJeepWheeler16 күн бұрын
@@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm so I just went out and did the solenoid tapping. Started right up via electric start. I ran it for 10-12 minutes. Killed the run switch and went to go start it again. Now nothing. What a pain in the butt. Should the solenoid have to be tapped on every time now in order to get it to turn over?
@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm15 күн бұрын
@@TheJeepWheeler No, once tapped and starts, it should work every time you electric or pull start in Gas Mode. If you went to LP then back to gas, it could be stuck again. When you turned it off, did you switch it back on ? Other than that, I’m not sure why it won’t continue to electric or pull start. Should stay in stuck.
@TheJeepWheeler15 күн бұрын
@@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm maybe the wife and I will head back out later. Yeah the ignition switch was turned back on. I'm not sure why it wouldn't turn back over 🤔

I am glad you and Cheryl got to go on your vacation. I bet it was a wonderful time away. I find it interesting how much your garden changed within that week, how everything bolted. I have a question… When something bolts, does that mean that the plant is done for? I realize that means it goes to seed. When you say that your asparagus bolted and he showed all that immense growth, are you able to cut the seedy stalk parts down? Will you still be able to harvest asparagus? I remember hearing that sometimes things turn bitter after certain plants go to seed. I’m certainly not somebody that would cry if you had to put a deer or two into freezer camp. Nobody better cast any judgment your way when that time comes. 😊👍 Thank you for the video. It always seems like I’m learning something every time you guys come on. ~Sharon from Florida
@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm26 күн бұрын
Once the plants bolt (going to seed) the plant is not very good tasting, lettuce gets bitter, Swiss chard gets woody. The radishes, beets gets hard and woody, etc. Asparagus, I could cut it all out and see if it’ll regrow for another harvest, haven’t tried that. The way I see it, if Deer eats my food, they become food. I have plenty of grass in my so called back 40 they can eat.

Really wish Samsung actually taught and acknowledged this problem instead of referring everyone to a certified technician. The certified tech in my area don't know this stuff. My last stove Frigidaire was able to be adjusted after the LP orifices were properly installed then I had to do this screwdriver trick against all professional advise. Now with the Samsung I Can NOT turn the screw. I think I'm going to have to tear the entire stove apart. So frustrating to buy a new stove an can not leave it unattended and they refuse to admit the problem.

I don’t see where there is anything that isn’t cannibal in this recipe and it’s thin enough I don’t see why it wouldn’t be an approved recipe. If it was just tested. Also, if you wanted to eliminate the white sugar completely I bet you could do 12 teaspoons of honey and 4 teaspoons of molasses maybe I’ve got some half-and-half honey molasses. I might try that.
@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm29 күн бұрын
Oh yes, honey and or molasses could easily replace white sugar. Yes, anything can be canned, just use common sense. Some items are not approved for whatever reason. I can them anyways.

@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm29 күн бұрын
Oh, you found the video, awesome. Far as I know, no one is making glass lids for canning. All my lids and rubber seals are vintage, and you can find them at the Antique stores, E-Bay and Esty. As to the rubber seals, you can find some new ones made for wicking (?) be careful, the sizes can be off a bit.

OK, I’m new to your channel but I’m loving it. Do you have a video where you talk about the glass lids? I’ve never used them or seen them in person. And I am definitely going to be putting this recipe to use.
That color is gorgeous and now I’m gonna have to look and see if you did the rest of the series because the one thing my whole family can agree on is that the general is yummy and I personally like orange sauce and lemon sauce

Oregon is beautiful. We will be there the end of the month to visit family. I can’t wait. It blows me away how clear the water is. We will be heading over to the coast. Port Orford up to Bandon and New Port. It’s been a few years since we made this trip to the coast. The last time my Father in law took us crabbing and out fishing. He thought I would get sick in the Ocean. Nope fooled him. I have sea legs. Have a beautiful time.

Very nice onions! Where are you located? I ask this because I live in Virginia and am growing Red Wings for the first time. They are a long day and so I am hoping they will do well here. I noticed you immediately cut the stalks off; has this in anyway affected the curing process for you? I would appreciate any thoughts and advice you might offer me. Thank you.
@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm2 ай бұрын
Oregon here. I see no difference in leaving or cutting the stalks, it just a personal preference. Feed them nitrogen every two weeks until you see the bulb swell up. More green leaves, bigger the onion.
