@ManchesterTechGuy29 күн бұрын
Hi, battery life has been pretty decent. I haven't really counted the entries per day, but I usually average around 4 - 8 entries per day and the battery lasts roughly 6 - 8 months. I'm using rechargeable batteries

Good evening, first of all thank you very much for sharing your experience! However, the Gradient Lightstrip Ambiance 2 meters + 3 meter extension that I would like to go all around my television, will this be possible? By sticking it either with the original adhesive glue or strong glue. But I would especially like to know with my application on my Samsung Philips Hue TV, it costs 130 euros! Will it have the same timings as the 65-inch Lightstrip Hue Play gradient in terms of color of the television image? Please, I really need to make up my mind because I really want to buy. Thank you, I look forward to your response. Kind regards

I have a few Govee lights and they have lasted already 3 years and I disagree that this Lyra will last only a few months. Govee are a decent brand and any device that doesn’t last they will replace. I think it might have just been a few that did this.

Makes sense. Probably a bad batch
@1chrissage23 ай бұрын
They seem pretty decent but the quality competed to Philips hue is definitely lackluster, you can see and feel the difference with the materials and build quality. Can't argue with the budget price of the Govee stuff, I'd just rather pay a bit more for the premium product of the two.

So did I understand right, its better to connect the PS5 directly to the sync box instead to connect the PS5 to the TV? Anyway, how it works when the PS5 is connected to the TV? Do you use a second HDMI cable for the PS5 (one to connect to the TV and one to connect to the Sync Box) or is the PS5 connected to TV and the TV to the Sync Box?

The PS5 is connected to the Sync Box and then the TV to the Sync Box using the output HDMI port. You can connect 4 HDMI inputs to the Sync Box

I'm in the same boat as you, I've currently got two of the Philips hue light strips behind my TV (one across the bottom, one across the top) however one of them the lights have gone a bit temperamental in the corner where they keep going off. My TV is a 70" mounted on my wall so I do need light at the bottom or it looks odd. I already have 3 Philips hue play bars and I've recently bought a gradient light tube to replace them, so I was thinking of attaching my 3 play bars at the bottom like yours 😊 However I was wondering if 3 would be good or if buying a 4th light bar would be better, or maybe it would be overkill having 4 behind the bottom of a 70" TV (two at each side). I just want to try get the smoothest light blend that's all at the bottom 😊 They might be a bit squashed together having two at each side might they and then the middle wouldn't be even, so I'm thinking 3 is probably the best? 😊 I'm also a bit concerned about sticking the pads, I'm not the best at doing these things (you've done a wonderful job here!!) so if I needed to remove the adhesive pads at any point, I'm not sure how easy that would be to take them off at some point? If only Philips made a light strip that went round all four edges of the TV 😔
@ManchesterTechGuy7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the kind words. I've now got an Ambiance Light Strip at the bottom instead of the Play Bars. If you're using a Light Tube I'd suggest not having the Play Bars installed at all as the tube would cover the bottom region

A very informative and inspiring video. Is it possible to retain the existing euro lock cylinder with this ir do you have to use the cylinder and key supplied? I dont know whether chinese locks are security rated or acceptable to insurance companies. Do you get notifications when the lock is opened/locked, for example when your kids arrive home from school, or if it is tampered with, someone trying to open it with the handle, trying a code or fingerprint perhaps? Can keycards be disabled remotely from within the app, for example if you lost the card or wanted to prevent access by a particular card temporarily/permanantly?

Not because it does not sound good, but it's noticeable, that you read particular sentences from your notes or something. Thats because your voice gets up at the end of every sentence. Thats what you typically do, if you read a set of multiple single sentences, like "counting". Make sure your voice sounds more seamingless :)
