Hi and thanks for the comment, OMG you must have watched this soooooo many times then, ok first off, I use very cheap mirrors, the silver coating on the back is very thin and don't require a lot of power to remove it ;) so depending on the quality of your mirror will give different results, go find the cheapest mirror and do some testing mate, I can't see any other reason than that to be honest with you, well apart from the way your image is processed, if you would like to give me your email I will send you this lightburn file with all the settings and the image ready to go, for you to try it out ;) Thanks.

A new fiber user here.... Thanks for sharing the settings which is a good place to start with my 30 watter. My kitchen table has a Longer B1/30 to do all the cutting and next to it is my fiber. This fiber stuff is great $HIT with the speed and .01 mm precision. Made a nice USMC engrave on a brass coin for my brother and it came out EXCELLENT... (Commarker B4/30 watt not a MOPA - BUT "next time :-)", 1500 mm/sec at 90% power, - 25 kHz, 6 passes with a 15' rotation then a sub layer of 2 cleanup passes with a 90' rotation - 60kHz, globally repeated 14 times. (main burn 6 passes then 2 clean passes - the globally repeated 14 times).... ALL burns were .025 line interval - 1016 DPI.... Gotta run a couple of cleanup passes every 6 main burn passes or so to have a "clean" surface to burn another 6 passes. The final depth was just under a mm.... THESE ARE THE COINS TO BUY - ASIN B0CN32GG14... At 10 for 20 bucks is a good deal AND they measure a true 3 mm thick/40 mm diameter. The other big "A" coins are only ~ 2.2 mm thick and that asin number is the REAL DEAL.... So good, after my first order and checked them out, I bought 30 more.. 🙂 HAPPY BURNING.... Hank

Hi & thanks for the comment ;) ok the laser beam is not square, it's a rectangle (.1 x .08), so by changing to 90 degrees it uses the narrow part of the beam, this gives a finer line spacing = better detail ;) I hope this has helped.

Hey, does the Tio2 work for stainless steel? I’m trying to get deep black engravings
@lightworkz612 ай бұрын
Hi & thanks, yes you can use tio2 on stainless steel, but if using a fiber laser the best way is to do a clean up pass then do the black pass, if using a diode use a black marker first and go slow and hot ;) to be honest tio2 doesn't really help that much to get a dark burn. Thanks for the comment.

@lightworkz612 ай бұрын
Hi & thanks, yes it's a white ceramic tile and sprayed with a mixture of Tio2 & thinners, just a light coating, to take away the shine from the tile, the Tio2 will let the laser beam burn into the ceramic coating and make a permanent mark on the tile ;) many thanks for the comment.

Since 15 years, I have been dealing with angular energy electricity generation systems (R&D). My positive designs about angular continue. In this regard, my own financial means are insufficient, I had meetings with many businessmen, they accepted the financing of the project, but they gave up when it came to signing a protocol, that is, when it came to formalisation. If there is an entrepreneur who will take firm steps with me on this path, who is idealistic, has financial means and wants to make an official protocol, I would like to meet. 98% of the published videos are wrong and do not work. I know the mistake they all make.
