Hey brother, what tire do you have on the back of that? I just wore out my Diablo five in seven months. I need something a little more hardware that looks like the ticket.

This was the pirelli Mt60. Burned out around 6500km. That bike is years gone now. I run a dunlop trailmax mission rear on my Tiger 900 and get about 25k km on it

Did you need to sync the throttle bodies after this? I'm installing a manual idle adjusted and i need to get to the idle stop screw underneath...

Huge thanks for this well-done tutorial. Got my service light reset. Only issue I had to buy a stupid Android phone to do it as well as Tune ECU. But my dealer is an hour away, and oil change is every 6 mos.

Just thinking loudly - since valves are getting tighter over time wouldn't it be better to install shims to, after procedure, be at the end of loose spec? 🤔

You should always wash your hands before you take a piss man, even when you've been wearing your gloves. It's just common courtesy for the next person.

After I saw your video I also bought TuneEcu ( also hate dealer robbery ;) TuneEcu 24,99 €. One year licence, up to 5 bikes licensed. Ordered four cheap interfaces on AliExpress, The second one I tried ( Konnwei) worked properly and I could reset the oil maintenance key. Thanks!

As in any procedure regarding my Harley Davidson, first off, I read the manual, then I go for advices like yours here and then proceed to decide how much info from that manual I would use, and how much I would from advice from others; manuals are far from perfect, is better to just consider them as a point of reference. In this case, as you said, the manual says to take this and that, but it does not even tell you to take off the brake line, which of course affects the fall-away process, what's more, all those lines are there all the time so they will affect handling one way or the other; in other words just use common sense and keep things simple.

So, how many total miles do you have on it. I didn't pick that up in the video!

Thanks for all your work with your bike. 6 years later, you are still helping people. Like me, in Hawaii where bike mechanics are very expensive. So easier if I take off like you said. Also thanks for the torque specs. 2015 FJ09 🤙 Mahalo!

Ok this had me going for a sec, but lowkey the zip tie is a good idea. But, when I saw your placement I laughed so hard lmao. Just got a Ninja 400 as my first bike and having trouble finding a spot for the bell I got at the MSF for getting a perfect score - a zip tie will help, but I think I'll find another spot if you know what I mean

Anyone know the bolt lengths for the crank case cover mentioned at 01:10? Took mine off and had 7 bolts the same length and 1 that was shorter, typical work of my local dealer lol.

Anti Seize...dang .you put a lot on those plugs..When I worked with a race team on off road car..We would never put antiseize on plugs..Somehow someway antiseize finds a way to get in to the gap and foul the plugs..So..perhaps a touch of antiseize..But 🤔🤔

Is this usual? Whenever valve clearance checks are done on Japanese bikes people say they've been way over the recommended mileage and still within spec.
