This is why 24v pumps suck. You look at everything on your rig. It’s all 12 V power and can be charged with alternators either off of your truck or your pressure washers and you never have to plug anything in and everything works the same and charges the same. It’s all 12 V power. You throw a 24 V on your rig and you have to buy a different charging system. You have to plug it in and you can’t charge while you’re running and you can’t just run your whole system off of two heavy duty deep cycle Marines so then you have to find space for another battery. Remco‘s new pump is also a 24 V and as soon as they said that I know it would be a flop. It’s just not practical it doesn’t match anything else we run that’s poor planning by the manufacturers in my opinion.

I have 5.5 Remco, 24v and a Gas Roof Pump on my rig. Gas roof pumps are just on another level. I used to be DS guy for years. Now I don’t even downstream much anymore. Gas Roof pumps are just superior in every way when compared to electric systems. My 24v started leaking, I replaced one of the pump heads and now I only use it to transfer. 5.5 Remco is still going strong 2nd season. My D30 Gas roof pump worked great for 3 seasons with 0 issues. I’m now getting D40 to replace it.

I am totally amazed that the water boss gun is working with the 12 V pump. I tried doing it on my system 12 V 7 gallon per minute pump and it did not spray but 10 feet I’m using half inch hose.
