That is so disappointing and worrisome about the windows, it’s taken a long time to do what you’ve done and then having to wait for the windows and not knowing whether they will come through for you or not. So sorry this is happening to you, I wish you the best of luck in that they will come through for you.

I understand there are some older types of "paint" (some tinted emulsion anyway) that have a natural bond with plaster and don't coat it with a non-permeable surface like modern acrylic paints. Is that the type of solution you'll be using? Or are there "modern" wall coatings that work better now ? I'm always curious about restorations as they have to balance what is available now , what actually works with the original construction, and what is going to do the best job. You have such wonderful details on the facade with the arches, it's going to be so beautiful!

The Italian courts are awful. There is a good chance that the windows case/dispute will take longer and cost more than you expect. If that happens I would encourage you to look for a work around so you can continue your wonderful villa restoration.

Sweden looks like a great place to spend the summer! When a nonresident deals with a contractor, he may be viewed as a source of great profit. It's not just an Italian thing, as I've seen it happen here in the US. They assume that nonresidents have deep pockets. ;-)

You may need to install an electronic fence for the dog to roam freely on your property. The dog will respond to his collar and the boundary of the electronic fence. It’s simple to install & keeps your dog safely on your property.
