Great to have something on record of these two legends playing together, Gumby and Russel most non musicians might not know about these two gems. We might not see such legendary musicians in Pakistan in future once these two aren't there. These two playing together are enough to create a very groovy band sound. Great instrumental.

Didn't want this to end. Russell not sure if you're going to read this msg , but for it's worth I've been following you for a long time. Unused to listen to Mizmaar because of your bass lines man, I saw you perform live with different singers and even then it was almost like you were the only one playing. Kudos to you for all that you've done.

Gumby bhai .... I'm from Peshawar and a #Rubab player . I love to play in an empty room bcz whenever I'm playing in front of someone, i get the idea that they are enjoying it but they intensely feel sinful , me a sinner and the instrument a shame. Thank u for speaking out. Love you bhai❤

You were so right about his amazing work on Vital Signs’ album. The guitar riff of Namumkin sounds so futuristic even today . Gumby bhai if you have any candid/archival footage of Amir Zaki playing .. pls do share. I’m his great fan and there’s very few videos I find of him.
