I'm feeling a lot better thanks I have had a ring put into me 2 weeks ago as they said it was a bladder prolapse hopefully it stays in til I see them again I hope you get sorted out soon and free from pain

Lots of these felt helpful but I wasn't able to do any of the exercises laying on my side (3rd trimester) since my PT doesn't want me laying like that 😅

Well duh. It's too late now for damage from my 3 c sections. First one was 3 day labor then emergency surgery. I had no help at home, husband would probably have gone into phycotic episode if he'd dried a coffee cup. I have some fat on belly ,I'm 73. I have adhesions I believe. We have to do what we have to.

I am 163 cm, 56 kg and chose 65, I wish I took 75 because now it has to only be fully pumped and my hips are still not high enough (they are in line with the knees when it's fully pumped). So, maybe one or two sizes bigger is better.

I am 21 weeks pregnant and this was super nice to do. I went from working out and stretching 5 days a week to none at all and miss it. Finally at a place in my pregnancy that I feel I can get back to stretching.

It’s all very individual. Lots of variables. Are you seeing your doctor or midwife again soon? If not, I highly recommend you book with a women’s health physiotherapist and ask this question and have your scar checked. Also be mindful of corsets.. they can put unnecessary pressure on your pelvic floor. What type of sports are you doing? For me (week 38) that was the perfect balance between really working out with feeling the burn while still being able to breathe and move calmly and gently stretching the body. Thank you for all the extra tips and information you sneaked in!

Why no plank during pregnancy

Planks are an exercise that challenge your ability regulate your intra abdominal pressure (IAP). If you can regulate it during a plank then there is no problems, but most people can’t, or can only for a short while. In pregnancy there is already a lot of pressure on your pelvic floor from the weight of your baby and also onto your abdomen as your belly grows. It’s not ideal to add to this pressure. It could worsen a Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) or out more pressure on your pelvic floor. There are SO many other great Core based exercises for pregnancy. Halo, after I finished day 1, day 2, day 3 and day 4 should I repeat from day 1 again ? Since I want to challenge my self doing in 30 day using your prolaps yoga day 1 and day 2 and day 3 and day 4. Need advise, thanks

It’s all about how you are going. Are you feeling a difference? You severe is your prolapse? Have you seen a women’s health physiotherapist? Consistency is key. The design of this is to progress from day 1, to day 2. So you could be day 1 for a while and then progress up to day 2. Maybe go back and really focus on technique and do day 1 for a week, then the same for day 2.. for the four weeks.

Take it easy Mama, don’t be hard on yourself. Get your wound checked by your doctor or midwife and allow the healing process. Give yourself grace. You are doing so well. Achieve less, rest more x Kerryn
