Two things I've seen that have been the most disheartening in America's collapse. In Utah they have overnight shelters for both homeless men and women to share together even after a reported rape. Yes you can argue that a homeless woman doesn't have to stay there but how about we really give a damn as a society or we don't. This half ass approach is doing jack all. Get it together take care of the women, children and disabled and elderly in this country. Secondly as the disabled man was taken to jail this is another fun fact about how they are thrown in with the general population and at a severe disadvantage for defending themselves. I've seen very slow individuals and those with symptoms of autism or slight down syndrome or mental developmental impairments who cannot process their environments will talk out of turn and be absolutely throttled, severely beaten by inmates. For all the acknowledgement abd protective groups ain't a damn thing done but lip service and an occasional hit on a cop who's probably done more good than bad anyhow to show their care in governance. Always remember that in USA the first problem that the cops have starts with the recruiting and assessment of people joining law enforcement . When doing the psychological evaluations many of the people that are hired score very high for people that have a sociopath personality . The last thing the police force want is someone that has compassion and respects those they are sworn to protect. In the current law enforcement policy .>>YOU ARE GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT. The system is america allows parents to get away with abuse and murder. But the cause of why the parents are like this goed much deeper. It starts with poverty, neglect, no insurance.. its not a easy task to change these things but it is possible. Look at the countries who do have these things in line..there is 80% less abuse and murder overall. Homeschool is another thing. I understand some kids have to be homeschooled but it also allows parents to get away with abuse and murder. And the fact that these kids are nog being checked upon regurlary amazes me. In the Netherlands teachers have the duty to check their children. Even a filthy house is neglect. But in america they turn an eye on this which jusy pisses me off. My son broke his legg playing the yard and i was questioned 4 seperate times in the hospital. That is how it goes.
