I have a particular headcanon I wish to share, so let me cook a bit. I believe that Radagon existed as his own person, perhaps as a bit of an analog counterpart to Marika, given that Miyazaki always involves the idea of dualities. This idea comes from the Radagon Icon item description. Radagon after seemingly absolving his transgressions from the war, married Rennala and studied Sorcery extensively. I speculate this is when Marika eventually made her move on Radagon. He then leaves Rennala with the Rune of Rebirth, the Red Hound, and begins studying incantations, and make himself complete. Marika and Radagon marry, and did that fated fusion ritual thing. Both would then create these masks to presumably prevent anyone from knowing the truth(Mask of Confidence) that they became one and the same. I believe that Marika's downfall was in one part exacerbated due to Radagan's desire for completion, and became inseperable. When we the Tarnished defeat the Elden Beast, not only is it shown that both Radagon and the Elden Beast were destroyed leaving behind Marika's broken body, the rememberance we get doesn't give us anything from the Elden Beast itself, but from both Radagon and Marika: Marika's Hammer and the Sacred Relic Sword, the last seen form of Radagan.

I didn't see anyone comment on it, or heard it in the video, but something beautiful about this is how he worked on what's essentially his biggest strenght. When shuned and bullied Thop did not retaliate or seek vengeance, he took it, closed his ears to it, almost like he made a "mental barrier" towards abuse. In the end he was able to materialize a spell for those like him, a spell that would protect them, a physical barrier, just like the one in his head.

Forgot to mention the gold alloy needle in preventing lord of chaos ending.

I originally went into Witcher 3 expecting Skyrim But Eastern European but man. This quest was a masterclass in what video game storytelling is capable of. I loved that the Baron wasn't just a Bad Guy, or a Good But Misunderstood, or whatever. He was a person, deeply flawed but capable of regret and growth and... We really don't get much of that in games.

I think a important point that supports Melina being the gloam-eyed queen, is the fact that she is "burned and bodiless". Why? Because most of us are married to a npc that shared the same fate, by being the target of the rune of death. Ranni too is bodiless and her original body burned to crisp.

Also - and I realize I'm a quite late to the discussion here, but, if you DO end up doing the flora & fauna vid, please include a section explaining why the Rowa fruits in Limgrave are small and grow in clusters, like grapes, but the ones growing in Liurnia- though having formed from seemingly the same exact kind of plant, clearly grow in large globular single formations, more like tomatoes. Do you think Rowa grows like this to mimic the full moon in Liurnia? Or maybe somehow because of it?

Watching this video to hear Thops story, painted him in a new light to me. I always would come back to him just to talk. Strangely he looks and “would” have a similar build style to that friend, whom I don’t get the chance to talk to much anymore. I want to believe he was happy, he created something so unique that it could be compared to one of the better spells, a happy ending. I will miss you Thops.

My theory as to why Sellen became a Graven School is that after Lusat is found, she did what she wanted. Restored the study of the Primevil current. But we also have to keep in mind why Sellen was exiled in the first place. Turning other sorcerers into Graven Schools. I think inevitably the student sorcerers did her, what she did to other sorcerers. Turned her into a Graven School and then Raya Lucaria kind just went back to normal.
