Honestly, any of the above but you'll need to change how you mount it. Caravans and RV's run them external but in a container that is vented. I run mine in my wagon.

Seems your bit over the top about it when in reality it isn’t that bad. especially seeing the first truck go back up no worries at all. guess it makes for good content.

@jamespugh372912 сағат бұрын
If your fr9nt brakes are l9cking before the rears then your LSPV needs adjusting. Your rears should always lock first, just before the fronts.

@AussieArvos unfortunately not anymore she's gone to heaven now, I was the last owner 😢 but was a bloody rig! But looked nothing like thw video haha have you got somewhere I can send a couple pics of it to ya? You wouldn't recognise it to what you had it looking like hahah 😅
@tnargs5718 сағат бұрын
Well @AussieArvos, if it is PERFECTLY reliable and you saw NO LIMITATIONS in its performance, then why do you keep saying "for its price"? What are you going to get from a more expensive 120 Ah lithium battery, that this one DOESN'T do?? 🙂
@pauladams489018 сағат бұрын
The only battery you should look at is voltage x… 300 or 400Ah… pick the one with the highest continuous discharge. You’ll have an aircon when you go camping

Such a shame about the graffiti on the tunnel. This is why we cant have nice things. 🙄 Love the big fridge. We've got a 100l Brass Monkey at a deal too good to refuse... Do not regret it at all. Overkill is just the right size. Used it for 2 months worth of Canning Stock Route/Central Australia travel it was fantastic not having to restock our meat in remote places. Fantastic Scenery. Your content is just so watchable!

In America, we put enough crap in our vehicles as if the world just ended and then we add more crap, while people in Aussie just keep things simple.

There's no consequences for breaking the rules which is why everyone breaks them. ACMA rule enforcement is non existant.

Interesting that not many of these LiPo4 batteries are waterproof at all. The biggest concern for me is the soft pouches for the cells. I know it would take a pretty hard and pointed whack to get through the case, but once that is breached.... I'd be happy enough to have one in a decent enclosure, but not so sure about mounted under the car.

The Man River is such an awesome spot, I went threw there last year did a pretty similar trip to you guys from Vic to Qld and back hitting up all the similar spots, I find it really funny and weird nsw and qld are so coastal focused there inland mountains, forest and rivers are amazing the great dividing range 👌🏻 You did such a good job on your GQ Liam should be very proud just needs some lockers now and some internal air bead locks and it will be unstoppable, Scratches and Dints are badges of honour, funny stories and great memories in years to come which is priceless, Nothing better than seeing a well used 4wd and hearing the trips and stories to go with it

Buy same or similar battery. Drill holes in side to fill up with spray-foam. Make sure to silicone attached leads to hinder rust, even if stainless steel bolts and copper lug arrangement.

I certainly understand Liam's complaint. The odd battle scar from a tough track is one thing, but the constant pin stripes from trying to push through overgrown tracks (especially if you don't know where they end) gets very tired very fast. A PPF wrap goes a long way to alleviating some of the frustration. Just be thankful you don't have a shiny metallic paint job like me that shows up every single tiny scratch 😅

Should’ve raptor coated ya ute, it’s grouse i got no scratches on my GU ute. But hey that’s just my opinion.

Liam try not to be so hard on yourself about the dent and scratches on your car, it's still your baby! Don't make the mistake of treating it less than it deserves. Buff out the dent, tame down the scratchers, consider putting clear wrap or raptor on it and it will be back to its new self again! Going down the track less traveled always is a bumpy ride but leaves you with memories that you simply can't buy. Your journey is never wasted it is experienced!!!

I’m a little late but with the pay to camp thing. I agree it’s not about the money. When I do my big trips with multiple locations it’s near impossible to know where you are going to be at certain times. I’ve been days behind and a day or 2 ahead on certain trips. The best place that I found for camping was on kangaroo island. None of it was for free but with limited reception it was such a convince to be able to pay on site. They have little pay stations at every campsite that make it super simple to pay. If they want to charge us for camping they should make it much easier for campers. A simple national park/state forest camping permit would make it far better.

What amazing locations! Yeah I don’t want too many people camping ⛺️ as going camping to avoid people! NSW might have better locations than Vic! Do t warty about scratches! Omg! You are like some watch collectors who does not want any scratches on their collections. Truck 🛻 need to be used!

How does the track or road go through your property? Can you explain access rules? My understanding was if its a marked gazetted track you need to provide access.
