Few Indians, still don’t want to agree Richards as best odi batsman because of Kohli. Richards was also best test batsman at that time. Sunil Gavaskar was also one best test batsman.

As a Young Cricketing loving Teenager in Australia this West Indian Team Depressed me very very much. If you lived through the Pace attack.The batting, Greenidge, Haynes, Richards, Lloyd etc, etc. I just sit back now smile and remember, The Greatest cricket Team in the Games history. Viv it was an honor, I saw you bat once at the MCG, Thank you Sir.

Afg are still considered minnows. Viv put on 100 for the 10th wicket and getting 189 back in the 80s was unheard of. England were a much stronger team than Afg

@@kiz5562Afghanistan's bowling is by no means a minnow attack, in fact it's better than mny test playing nations' bowling. I acknowledge what Viv did was exemplary but I still think Maxwell surpassed him because of his handicap, the fact that they were chasing and so there had to be a method to the madness unlike Viv's innings where he was just trying to get as many as he could without any pressure. Plus the stakes were quite a bit higher here with it being a world cup game and all
