I’m making a comparison between the building code and mandatory maintenance in the South and Southwest of France and California for a university paper. The issues are the same. France doesn’t have forest wars but a very active Green Party. The big fire near Bordeaux in 2022 was fuelled by a lack of forest management and the French could learn a lot from te approach in this video. California could learn a lot from the French building code. Wooden houses are not an option, the ground near houses has to be scrubbed, large trees are no allowed near homes, citizens are responsible for the clearing of branches over the roads.

All this talk of drought. I just moved back to California after 10 years out of state and I can say that this is the wettest I've ever seen California. The past two winters and springs have brought tremendous rains. The climate cult speaks whatever they deem necessary to advance their religion.

It rained in the winter, therefore no drought. Stick around till summer genius. All the reservoirs at 5% capacity and record low snow packs just mean nothing huh?

Very good overview of the wildfire problem causes and potential solutions. A glaring piece of the puzzle missing from the documentary however is that before the solutions can be implemented at the pace and scale needed myriad layers of local, state, and federal environmental laws will need to be amended to allow the work to take place without regulatory costs, restrictions, requirements, delays, and threats of fines, jail-time, and litigation. For that to happen politicians will need to feel comfortable making those changes to laws. And for that to happen millions of minds will need to change so that the general public supports elected officials doing that. This video had potential to help those minds change, but unfortunately, did not include the critical factor of how outdated and now counterproductive environmental laws are contributing to the wildfire fuel accumulation problem. In California, examples of state laws that will need to change are the California Coastal Act, California Endangered Species Act, Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Z'Berg-Nejedly Forest Practice Act, California Wilderness Act, the California Private Attorney General doctrine, and more. Federal laws that will need to change are the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Air Act, the Wilderness Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Equal Access to Justice Act, and more. Protected species, protected habitat, protected water quality, protected air quality, are all adversely impacted on huge scales by high-heat-intensity wildfires fueled by unnatural accumulations of wildfire fuels, which burn indiscriminately across jurisdictions. Millions of rural residents could help solve the wildfire fuel accumulation problem, if they were not discouraged, hindered, and blocked by layer upon layer of local, state, and federal environmental laws from doing the work needed. If your mind is one that needs changing, please rethink your position, and if you change your mind to agree that environmental laws need to be changed to enable wildfire fuel reduction work to take place at the pace and scaled needed, please, please, let your elected officials know that.

"Its a fire adapted eco system, its the houses that are not fire adapted" Do you think that a home built in an extreme wildfire WUI should have a more fire resistant building code? Maybe land use rules in these areas need to change. 85% are human caused and the fuel is human provided. Sounds like a human problem. I call it rural living culture. So many people refuse to change.

Which god ? Jesus ? Which one since the Christian one is the 34th time that exact story was told. You would think if you’re gonna base your whole life on something you would know its origin. But you ignore the fact your entire bible is stories told for thousands of years by other people’s down to the exact names of the characters. Over and over and over. They probably couldn’t imagine that some day people would be so stunningly stupid they would continue to believe fairy tales with so much access to knowledge.

Fire victims are having their Timber stolen from them during forest fires. They stole 189 trees from me. The US Constitution says, "nor shall they take private property without just compensation." These people are getting stolen just compensation when they take private property from fire victims without "just compensation" that they pay to those receiving stolen property. This is a criminal enterprise.

At - 9:17 is an example of how seemingly good people can become sociopaths. As a Caldor fire victim, we found out that the USFS had a policy "let it burn." This was disputed by people that support government and ignore abuse of power under the color of law crimes, aka, human right abuse. Humans now live in the Forests. Even this hypocritical old turd is an example of how the good people of Germany in the ww2 did to those they believed were bad policy for humanity also resulting in the loss of property and human life. There is a special place in hell for these so-called do gooders. If you google the phrase "does the us forest service have a let it burn policy," you will see the the internet is fixed and they hide what this guy says at 9:43 that "fires must be allowed to continue [burn], but they didn't allow that. Perhaps there is a truth for that. But this guy has no problem promoting that philosophy that others run with regardless that a forest fire is a few miles from heavily populated humanity. These environmentalists feel that victims should know what they are getting into, and actually would rather people stay out of the forest. This let it burn policy they say, contradicting this old fart, "does not exist." Yet here you see they promote that it does at 9:43. The USFS has been putting gates on forest roads for decades blocking US Citizens from roaming their country freely, as if the US Forests have the same national security as Area 51. Mainly hunters are aware of this, but this is evident only to them and most people have not clue the USA liberty is being obstructed by non democratic policy from people that shed no tears over loss of human life. These SS type officials lose no sleep. This guy's policy is the catalyst of death for fire victims. "Berkeley," his alma mater, was a place for hippies and the sanctity of peace and freedom. However, these once concerned people people have turned into hard core hegomonists where those who are victims where they hated death in war, now create and author death in forest communities by spreading this tripe without property training or educating the idiots that qualify to make policy during a forest fire. One in this is calling herself a "liberal female from Portland." So, this is "liberal policy." I thought I was liberal. How dare her! People die and lose property next to their sacred forest fires they allow to burn, such as Caldor, Dixie, and Tamarack where the USFS obstructed fire fighters violating "Penal Code Section 148.2 - Interfering with Firemen and Rescue Personnel." See Grant Ingram kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e5p2oph60rC7en0.html. Now we are dealing with Maui fire, and still people ignore these sick policy makers they blame on logging and "spotted owls" and "climate." As if we can control climate. I can only hope it doesn't take a civil war to stop these insane tyrants that consider human life worthless because they too love living in the forest. USA needs to put aside politics and unite with love!

As long as they keep ignoring the elephant in the room then these Fires are going to destroy everything. I will never support Government for GMO Forrests to lead the land to deserts. Spraying 20 million Tonns of toxic poison 24/7 all year round is just insane. Geo-Engineering is the bigest destroyer of prestine enviroments as Aluminum , Bariun & Strontium 90 is wiping out the Soil Microbials at microscopic level. Solar Radiation Mamagement is what leads to the incinderies for such intense fires while they may even stop backburning beforehand & the fireplanes drop a retardent that also poisons the envirment as well. They could implement clean good practises for wood production but government will always take the worst possible alternative to make it all turn to shit for their depopulation Agenda just as they now make up crap that we need to die to save the enviroment. Not just Chem Spraying but cloud seeding , DEW's, HARRP, & other weapons at their disposal makes it a war for their Psychopath insanity to use against us. I stand with Dane Wigington in his fight to try stop the thing that they always Lie about to say they not doing it while it's all right there in their Government Papers which prove it. geoengineeringwatch.org

OLD GROWTH TIMBER MAKES LOUSEY LUMBER !!! It is full of pitch seams and is not worth the trouble to get it. Leave it in the woods to be wildlife habitat and eventfully home for micro organisms . As a logger / mill operator I want nothing to do with old growth. USFS used to require taking of the old dead snags as part of the logging sale/
