To my Christian friends, the Bible has forewarned you about religious leaders such as Ravi Z in the video clip: “…. O my people, your leaders mislead you; they send you down the wrong road.” (Isaiah 3:12) “But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money.” (2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV) And don’t be one of those people who seeks for leaders who can tell you what your itching ears like to hear, and don’t be the rejector of truth and don’t chase myths, be clear in your head, and don’t be a coward or afraid of the suffering that automatically comes with following the Lord: “For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord.” (2 Timothy 4:3-5 NLT) The fact is, the eternal reality of Christ has appeared from age to age with a new name. You should not let the physical body of Jesus blind you to the the actual eternal reality of Christ which predates the body of Jesus 2000 years ago. It is this eternal reality which again has manifested himself in this age in the person of Bahá’u’lláh (the Glory of God). Didn’t Christ say that upon his return he would have a new name? “…. And I will also write on them my new name.” -Christ (Revelation 3:12) Is not God, the God of renewal? “They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say, ‘We knew that all the time!’” (Isaiah 48:7) Didn’t Christ make all things new 2000 years ago? “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV) Didn’t Christ also promise that upon his return he again would make all things new? “….. Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:5 KJV) So, to expect the same status quo from 2000 years ago would be the antithesis of what the Bible had actually predicated. Read the Bible carefully from Genesis all the way to the Book of Revelation--all 66 books depict an ever-changing, ever-renewing revelation of God. If this fundamental principle has not been grasped, one cannot claim to know even the most basic facts about the Bible, because in the last analysis of the spiritual quest in the Bible all facts are weighed in and find their true meaning and coherence in the balance of an ever-evolving revelation of God which would be reflected in the transformation of human psyche and the human society. Dr. Hushidar Motlagh, an outstanding Baha’i scholar had stated the following: “Recently, a series of interviews entitled, Prophecy Today, Christian Leaders Look at the Signs of the Time, was conducted with several distinguished Christians. Leaders of various denominations, both Catholic and Protestant, were asked to link the events of our time to biblical prophecy. Among the leaders interviewed was Dr. James Kennedy, one of the most distinguished Christian scholars and founder of the Westminster Academy. He is known to many Christians through his writings as well as his weekly television and radio broadcasts that reach millions in 3,300 communities in the United States and 21 other countries. When asked “What do you believe are some of the major mistakes we tend to make in our study of prophecy?”, he said: The great Princeton theologian of the last century, Dr. Charles Hodge, said something which I have always thought is worth remembering. He said that though the Old Testament is filled with some 333 prophecies concerning the first coming of Christ; in spite of that, nobody got it right. And as you know, they crucified Christ because of a misunderstanding about what the Messiah was really coming to do. And we should because of that be somewhat humbled and modest in our attempts to interpret prophecies concerning the second coming of Christ. It is quite possible that all of us [Christian leaders] are wrong as well. [Emphasis added.].” Source: Motlagh, Hushidar, “I Shall Come Again”, pp.14-15. Jesus Is God , Our God Is so Real and perfect , we still want to know more details and historical facts but the faith and firm belief He put on our hearts Trough The Holy Spirit makes us believe and see it all as truth even without all this evidence that All The Prophecies were fulfilled in Our Own God That Died for Us On a cross so we don’t die and at all times He Was always Alive and Making Everything Perfect and So surgical In a way nobody can denied He’s God and I confess His Name Jesus Christ As My Lord Father God and Savior Amen

No christianity did not invent science, Christian science depends on Islamic science, and they depended of greco Roman science, the Greeks depends on the Babylonian svience, and they on Sumer and egypt. Other civilisation,China for instance also.had science, which was more advanced than that in the west. Also the resurrection of Jesus is a claim not a fact. We have no contemporary historical evidence or documents of this at all. We have the gospel accounts which were written anonymously, were not eyewitness, in high greek, from an oral tradition of story telling between 45 to 100 years after the claimed events. An honest speaker would exp!ain that, and why zombies did not match around Jerusalem as claimed in Mathew, no earthquakes, probably no tomb either

The irony of someone claiming to be intelligent making intellectually dishonest strawman for their made up argument and treating it as a conclusion. The fact of the matter is, atheism is just a standpoint for a agnostic who does not want to call what they do not understand 'God'. And since neither part of this 'debate' have an even remote understanding of the Big Bang, it seems most presumptios to suggest that either side get to question 'why'. Your partner not being able to disprove you does not make you right. I would hope that by moving forward together, at least as a collective, we can get away from needing to put each other down for the sake of debate. Debate, which is the most useless form of communication. If your debate is not a rap battle, then I will not accept any winner.

It wasn't from his interviews for The C For C. I can tell you that. The problem as I said repeatedly in my own playlist against Strobel is he is a highly acclaimed investigative reporter--or was. And he completely disregarded investigating anything. His lack of journalistic integrity was astounding. His interviewees were largely fundamentalist and his research was from largely fundamentalist books written by those very interviewees which is why I am accusing him of never having been an atheist when he did those interviews. I am researching the claims of those interviewees and it isn't evidence it is speculation and usually bad speculation or flat out untruths. If you research what general consensus of scholars are vs what Strobel's interviewees state you will find quite different opinions. Bascially Strobel's contention was "the fundamentalists said it made sense so it did." He never fact checked or looked for contrary opinions. He offered his own light "what ifs" then just agreed with the counter opinion of the fundamentalist without searching further. And that's the real truth behind his biased book that made him very rich. Cheers, DCF

From Lehigh University Department position on evolution and "intelligent design" The faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences is committed to the highest standards of scientific integrity and academic function. This commitment carries with it unwavering support for academic freedom and the free exchange of ideas. It also demands the utmost respect for the scientific method, integrity in the conduct of research, and recognition that the validity of any scientific model comes only as a result of rational hypothesis testing, sound experimentation, and findings that can be replicated by others. The department faculty, then, are unequivocal in their support of evolutionary theory, which has its roots in the seminal work of Charles Darwin and has been supported by findings accumulated over 140 years. The sole dissenter from this position, Prof. Michael Behe, is a well-known proponent of "intelligent design." While we respect Prof. Behe's right to express his views, they are his alone and are in no way endorsed by the department. It is our collective position that intelligent design has no basis in science, has not been tested experimentally, and should not be regarded as scientific.

The believer in atheist Dogma wants to be evil, so if God prevented them from fulfilling their desires, then they would complain about that too. God just can't win with those morons, and their objections are merely emotional, not logical or intellectual.
@1godonlyone119
@1godonlyone119 2 жыл бұрын
An apologist I admire once made an excellent point with a believer in atheist Dogma on another video that I recently watched: Those who put forth this so-called "problem of evil" as if it's a good argument against God's existence are like passengers on a plane who find out that there's a little rust on the wing, or maybe a little dust or dirt on the windows. Then their conclusion from that observation is that because the airplane isn't 100% perfect according to their own biased judgement, that therefore the people who designed and built the plane don't exist. It is a huge and ridiculous leap of logic in either case, and it's shitty "arguments" such as this that can help explain why most people on the planet don't take believers in atheist Dogma seriously.
@christopherminge3558
@christopherminge3558 2 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting analogy to think about! I think it would be somewhat reasonable to conclude the plane designers didn't exist in your case IF they are supposed to be perfect. If there happens to be strong evidence that there were designers for the plane (like why is it there and why does it work), then the ultimate conclusion of the argument is that the plane creators aren't perfect, not that they don't exist. The problem of evil is merely an argument against an all-good, all-powerful God (making it an argument typically relevant against the Christian God, as he is commonly taken to have those properties). Also, I know that this is probably just a point of the analogy that highlights our intuitive disagreements, but I feel that the moral failings of our world are incredibly substantial and obvious, so as to make a better analogy one in which one of the plane's engines catches on fire during the flight, with the plane still managing to sputter on. To resolve our disagreement on the better analogy, we would need to discuss the details of the so-called evils in our world. I would personally point to the fact that wild animals undergo horrendous suffering continually at massive scales. It seems quite undeniable that there couldn't be any instrumental value to the extent of such suffering.

My question is why does pain have to so overwhelmingly intense and seemingly out of proportion. The journalist in Saudi Arabia who was tortured for 7 minutes before killed comes to mind. Limbs sawn off while still alive. The terrible acts of Nazi Germany's Mengele. Why didn't god create pain to be very unpleasant vs excruciating beyond description?
