if im not mistaken the clock on mood is sample rate and not bits, so it would be more authentic to have the clock control the speed of the looper alongside sample rate of the redux
@phritzmusic2 күн бұрын
true, I do map it on the sample rate at around 1:47 as well so that might be closer sounding to the original. but I personally enjoy the subtleness of the bits over the sample rate so that’s why I have that on as default. ig it’s personal preference haha Thanks for the comment!

what is the device after Redux?
@socks75455 күн бұрын
now throw on an expression control or two, possibly a little reverb in the chain group all, duplicate in chain selector, make a dry wet macro using the volume control in the chain selector and play around from there

One device is Redux but what is the other one?
@phritzmusic5 күн бұрын
you mean the one on the right? it's a simple m4l mapping device I made which controls the Speed on the Looper + Bit Rate on the redux from a single knob!

ANALOGUE SNOBUE, listening to fully mixed and mastered track: "Garbage. I can hear the freeware 1176 clone on track 11, the reverb tail on the snare doesn't decay like real hardware, and not a single bespoke wooden case with some tasteful adjacent houseplants can be heard anywhere." :P

Is there anyway you can show me how you do this? I find the grid editor extremely complicated.

@@phritzmusic oh lol i have no idea how I didn't clarify on that, the m4l (?) device you use for the nintendo DS logo video
@phritzmusicАй бұрын
@@IDGs_space could it be the ‘bokeh’ or ‘romb’ device you’re referring to? they’re both from Fors so highly recommend checking them out!
@IDGs_spaceАй бұрын
@@phritzmusic I totally love fors stuff haha, but im specifically talking about the video player that you use for the DS intro, it looks like it's connected to ableton since when you play the piece in ableton the video plays in sync too I made the assumption that it's an m4l device but I could be mistaken 🙏
@phritzmusicАй бұрын
@@IDGs_space OH that's just the built in ableton video player, simply hit 'ctrl + alt + v (or cmd + option + v on mac)' and it'll pop up!
