@DannyJapanny2 ай бұрын
I would say in terms of how new it is it's an upgrade. My room in the countryside was a lot bigger and it was cheaper, but a lot older. As far as the surroundings go I would say Nagano was more beautiful. However over here things are just far more convenient

Just saw your comment in abroad in japan came from that. Would love if you could share some insights into the job, i wanted to apply for an English company too
@DannyJapanny7 ай бұрын
I think the job isn't too stressful the teachers do bear a lot of responsibility which you simply don't have as an ALT. I think your main task as an ALT is too find exciting activities for the children so they do something different once in a while however I have to say it depends greatly on the teacher you are working with. Be very careful when applying some of the companies don't have your best interest at heart. Although I think the pay isn't that high I should say the company I work for is more than decent. 💪😎
@mokisan7 ай бұрын
@@DannyJapanny thank you so much! May I ask which company you applied to and how the process went? Would be awesome if you could share a video sharing that. Thank you 😄
@DannyJapanny7 ай бұрын
I am actually holding a livestream this weekend at 21:00 EST. I will tell you, but if any more questions pop up, you can always join and ask them. AtoZ is the company. If you want to live in the countryside it's a good option, since they only operate in Nagano. However if you want to live in the city, it's unfortunately not the best option. I have a video which covers more options kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m7qDnrajs9vWqH0.htmlsi=HZID4ikzDGjU4ZDp. It was made for the people who didn't get accepted by the JET program, but I think it will help you out as other companies also get listed and some tips for the interview

@DannyJapanny7 ай бұрын
Hello yeah it has been awesome. Pay isn't that good, but I think that is pretty normal for an ALT position before taxes it is 232000 yen. Didn't think people would read the comment though 😳.
