Android ai Generator ??

The last picture I think is still better done with PS, because the reflections generated by Luminar do not match the buildings and plants on the ground. Regarding the resolution limitations of AI generation, PS can use some plugins to achieve sectional generation, greatly improving the resolution. Luminar might not be able to achieve this yet.

90% of my short film is locked off shots, because the characters are stuck in a bad situation. Sometimes, stillness in itself can convey a mood.

It was going to be interesting to compare the light pattern and actual power. Also in my opinion the Amaran 60x S is a better option than all of them :)

I have yet to try the Amaran but already heard good things about it.

@@SightseeingStan it is still one of the best designs. It is compact, bowens mount is integrated, you can use it with NP-F battery plate but not with that stupid handle and when you carry it around run and gun style you start to appreciate that. It is very quiet and has fan control from the app. The only thing that I find more interesting in this power range is the new GVM and INKEE flashlight style 60W lights. Especially the GVM with its small spot modifier that can be used as a focusing flashlight and with a bowens adapter in the studio. For me 60-80W is a good amount of power and you can power that with 2 NP-F which is a great option for many people. We need a swiss army knife light that can work in studio and outside while it is convenient for both scenarios.

11:00 Smallrig already have adapter for Bowens mount. And the Molus is getting even noisier when you left it to work for 10min at max power :).
@SightseeingStan2 күн бұрын
Yep, I totally missed that they released that Bowens mount my bad! But already pinned a comment to clarify that. I haven't noticed an increase in noise with the Molus myself and I've had it running for hours on end (plugged in). 🤷♂️
@SimeonKolev2 күн бұрын
@@SightseeingStan Yep I saw it right after I wrote it :D. The Molus is getting hot and noisy on max power. The bad thing here is that the noise is not a the same, it is variable which is worse for cleaning in post. Also the Bicolor must be actually more powerful because the RGB one has the same chip size but there are RGB diodes too in that same space... it will be interesting if somebody test that. For me the Molus line is kinda messed up in the design because it is mimicking a camera but on the cost of making it worse as a light fixture. They all need some more metal to reduce the heat and a shape that will make more sense for using as a light. For example because they are so shallow the chip can not spread the light well enough to fill some modifiers.

The thing with the Zhiyun portability though is the built in mount is not strong enough for a key light softbox (e.g. 60cm or 90cm), so you have to add a bowens adapter which somewhat defeats the purpose of it being so small. The Godox proprietary mount seems a more elegant solution as it can hold a reasonably sized softbox and the overall travel kit is smaller.
@SightseeingStan2 күн бұрын
I don't even think they have a softbox that large for this mount. Eitherway, adding the bowens adapter definitely makes the whole package larger. But I guess it really comes down to use cases. I think all of these have a good use in different scenarios. Is one of the the "all-in-one absolute best and better than all the rest"? I don't think so unfortunately...
@DigiDriftZone2 күн бұрын
@@SightseeingStan Indeed. Thank you for the comparison, I was surprised to learn the ML60 II doesn't have a bowens mount, I am currently using the original ML60 which does and it's extremely quiet too, seems the new one is a bit of a downgrade then?
@SightseeingStan2 күн бұрын
@@DigiDriftZone Oh really? I asked Godox about it and they just said it doesn't have one. So weird that they had it on the previous model then. I'm guessing they might still add, like SmallRig did recently. Anyway, glad you liked the video! Thanks for checking it out!
@gtwesterКүн бұрын
The Zhiyun Bowens mount adapter is plastic and weak. Mine broke the very first time I mounted it on a light stand. As I tightened the screw on the adapter it literally pulled the metal nut right out of the plastic stem. I pushed it back in but if I try and tighten it again it keeps coming out. Zhiyun probably should have made it metal.

I personally want to have a photograph of the subject like I composed it. With all this AI how I'm I to know what's real or not? I agree a little touch-up might help but not completely changing the image. I guess I'm more of a realist and old school but want to remember what I really saw. Plus it takes a little photography skills to be applied which is becoming a lost art. Don't get me wrong because I do feel there's a need for AI in some circumstances . By the way Great Video. Thank you

Hey Mike! Glad to hear you liked the video. Yea there's definitely a time and place for AI or certain editing. And everyone definitely has their own style and preference. That's also whats great about all this. In the end everyone can do what they like and what their view of "good" or "beautiful" is!

Static shots are good for a 2-3 seconds shot. More than 3 seconds, it will become a boring seen... When you add a little bit of movement, the static shot will become more interesting and will get more attention to the subject.

Some camera's are capable of recording video with very low light. But most video you see of northern lights is actually a timelapse. It's a sequence of photos basically.

I'm sorry, understand that I think your pics and technique are good but I do not believe in using photo shop or any other editing software. By combining 4 images, you are creating a picture you want it to be instead of the picture you took. If I don't get the settings right the first time, then it's my bad and I need to go and redo the shot. May sound crazy but I believe in doing the shot right with one image and not having to combine images to make it the way you want it to look, not how it does look. I appreciate your talents tho.

Is it normal to get a bit of delay or lag when viewing photos on Sony A7iii ? I’m concerned something might be wrong and don’t want to sell me camera if there is an issue. Some photos change instantly when using the wheel to scroll through photos but then sometimes it will just delay 5-10 seconds before changing , as if the memory is struggling or something
