you are using the brown oil pump and oil cooler o rings?why not Viton green? i do not see you on video doing cam timing?

What makes the intake noise growl like that? ❤ Is that a tall trumpet and a slide throttle? Can you share where to learn more about that engine setup?

Basically, it is the combination of the camshafts, providing a very long overlap interval, the slide valve system and the velocity stacks. More details will be published on our website soon. Please look in the engine section for the "2,0 EVO V" engine later.

Der 908 hatte keinen 2,2 L Achtzylinder, sondern einen 2,1 L Sechszylinder mit Turbo (im Spyder). Ihr meint den 907 !

The 914 with a proper setup and the same horsepower as a 911 can negotiate corners at a higher speed than a 911

If you going to repair Porsche you got to looks OUT for Porsche 356 engines all of their crankshafts is balanced with their flywheels if the flywheel is not marked and put back in the same place with the crankshaft of course the engines will slang themselves apart because the fly wheels are balanced with the crankshaft on all 356 Porsche engine's I really do know I am a real ASE certified Master Auto technician with over 60 years of real experience or a master ASE certified Auto Mechanic with over 60 years of real experience

Entweder der Fahrer kann nicht fahren oder das Auto sieht besser aus, als es ist. Einen alten M3 sollte man locker abhängen, wenn der Motor 310 Pferde hat. Spätestens in Kurven ist der 924 viel besser zu beherrschen, bessere Bremsen hat er sowieso. Ich versteh den Hype um m3 nicht. Die waren neu schon nicht so toll, durchzugsschwach und wirklich schlechte Bremsen, aus dem damaligen 5 er.

Vintage car race...driver seems to be taking it easy...could be taking it deeper into the corners, hitting the brakes harder? Maybe could use stickier tires? Motor sounds great!

Danke für das Video! Dieses Auto ist perfekt, in jeder Hinsicht. Ich würde bis auf die letzte Unterhose alles hergeben, um an dieses Auto ranzukommen. Danke auch für den Beschreibungstext. Die Eckdaten reichen bereits völlig aus, um Bescheid zu wissen. Interessant wäre natürlich auch der 8-Zylinder-Motor, aber ich behaupte mal, der 6-Zylinder steht ihm am besten. 👍

Gostei muito excelente ainda mais em Estoril boas lembranças de Portugal, desde Ayrton Senna sempre foi um autódromo favorito, agora o Porsche impressionante, acredito que se puder refinar um pouco mais a ignição com Air fuel ratio daria uma curva mais flat no torque! Mas está um espetáculo !!! Muito bom !!! Um grande abraço aos amigos que fizeram este trabalho magnífico !!!!

Hard to tell exactly what happened but it looks as though the 914 -6. was a better car then the 911 in the wet.

@@HoosierRooster what really got me as I researched all this Porsche history is watching the pros oversteer the 911 at way over high speed just as the normal way to keep them at speed. They steer them by balancing the rear tyres on the throttle like I can a front wheel drive car but not at those speeds, they are that good but the 914 drivers still caught them in corners but lost out to the bigger engine and grip driving out of corners. 1970 Le Mans was a victory in the wet for the 914/6 GT #40 . 6th overall. 1st in class Also interesting is the 914 had finished the race on the same tyres and same brakes.

Einfacher ist es den kolben im zylinder vorzumontieren und dann nur noch am pleuel Bolzen durch ✌️
