The Svart/Vit 701 was short-lived so it might be a bit hard to find them now. You might wanna talk to your nearby Husky dealer and see if they can locate one. Unit Garage makes their own version of pannier system that works on this bike as well although I haven’t tried one myself.

Hi, very nice video👌. Can you tell me what camera do you use for this nice shots? Thank you

For this one, it’s a a combination of Leica SL2-S with Summicron 35mm, iPhone 15 Pro Max and Insta360 One RS. See my reply to earlier comment for more details.

Thank you! Although I love moto-camping, I’m also finding bikepacking/camping to be really unique, challenging and yet relaxing. Definitely looking forward to doing both.

Really enjoyed this one. Team bicycles here -- the motorcycle videos are great but your Trek is supa choice so it deserves to be featured more!
@garactacle5 ай бұрын
Super happy to hear and thank you very much for your feedback. I’ve been contemplating about moto vs bicycle contents. While I love both, not everyone can ride motorcycle - and bicycle is more accessible to broader range of people and maybe thus more relatable. I’m definitely planning to create videos featuring both mc and bicycle camping moving forward.

What did you film this on? Great quality!

Thank you for watching the episode. This video was a mix of Leica SL2-S with 35mm Summicron (main), iPhone 15 Pro Max (wide angle shots) and Insta360 One RS for on-bike footage.

Your solo camp with solely the 15 Pro Max was awesome! Did you use any extras on the phone? (ND filter, lenses, etc)
@garactacle5 ай бұрын
My iPhone setup is with neewer.com/products/neewer-pa023-metal-cage-video-rig-iphone-15-pro-66603710 and filters as needed. The cage would make the phone a bit bulky, but you can use tripod, filters straps, even external mic and such.

I'm over from TGN to say I really enjoy your videos. The style, music, and overall presentation is just what I'm looking for. I have been in a slump for the last year with cycling and this is the type of change-up I might need. I think I might start with stopping for an "adventure coffee" during my rides. Thanks for the inspiration!
@garactacle5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Great to see a fellow TGN supporter crew here. Really happy to hear you are resonating with this style of videos and that's giving you the little "push" you needed. Yeah, Adventure Coffee is really fun and quite bit easier to start with. Get a small folding chair, coffee kit, maybe a table and go! If you really liked doing that, then you got some nice starter kit to expand to a full on backpacking setup later.
@Adrian-vf6kh5 ай бұрын
You literally have the best camping kit - love the wristwatch too.
@garactacle5 ай бұрын
Thank you! My camping kit/setup is originating from my moto-camping needs (with not very touring/adv centric bikes) so they are pretty compact and minimalistic though not the most ultralight. Looking forward to see where it goes for bikepacking as I do more of that this year. If you are into watches, check out my IG instagram.com/garactacle/ for more watch centric contents!

Motocamp is better😁
@garactacle5 ай бұрын
I definitely love moto-camping, but I also felt the satisfaction and a bit of serenity with bikepacking. Moto-camping isn’t going anywhere and I’ll keep things pretty laid back here, but I think I’ll be doing another bikepacking soon.
Much nicer setup than what I used back in the 1980's. Schwinn Paramount
@garactacle5 ай бұрын
Schwinn Paramount is a true classic! I’m also coming from riding 1987 Binachi Superleggera for well over a decade, and totally new to Gravel bike genre, modern components, and man, the disc brakes! Really enjoying the ride and the bike can carry a lot of stuff. That’s also new to me and really liberating!

The 54 is *that* watch you can take anywhere and wear with anything; and that's usually not the case with dive watches.
@garactacle6 ай бұрын
The size, crown guard-less and the lug stance/proportion all work together to achieve that balance. I can hike, dive, then attend a nice dinner with it on one go, and I’ve done just that. Great piece for sure.

I know right? I love them! Unfortunately it came with the bike preowned and I don't know where they are from. Not sure if they were offered as an accessory back then or someone else made them. I also had a 2007 Bonnie since new but I don't recall seeing something like this in the catalog. The Bonnie is 1" handlebar and the Scrambler is 7/8" so maybe I wasn't paying attention. Either way, I really love the rugged look and color, and somehow this tiny little parts tidy up the area really well.

So how dependable has the Svartpilen proven to be ?
@garactacle6 ай бұрын
I’ve had a few early warranty/recall bits, and I replaced the clutch slave cylinder with 3rd party as a precaution (they later issued recall) and had a few relatively minor issues but no breakdowns or blowouts. I’ve done several multi-day touring through elevation, rain and even some snow. So all in all I’d say “as reliable as a modern European bike” maybe about the same level as the Ducatis I’ve had over the years.
