I have a $50 Mustool USB microscope, which works OK for circuit boards. I'd probably just use my phone for hand held applications. BUT if this thing incorporated a thermal camera, I'd pay twice as much. Do any thermal cameras come with a stand? That would be ideal.

I don't care what others will say, that's a cool microscope. I only wish it had a bigger battery to not force you to carry a power bank at all times. It reminded me of that old Czech point-and-click game "Samorost". The creator used his camera to capture pictures of tree bark, grass and moss and then made them into textures. It gave the game an unforgettable visual style.

I followed your recommendation about this one, and Im very impressed by it. The fact you can export your measurements (when connected via bluetooth to a phone) as charts in various file formats such as pdf or jpg left me speechless. It can also generate a qr-code which automagically uploads the exported chart to a publicly available server for others to check with a simple QR CODE. I mean ...... Speechless

My only comment is about price. I just bought mine for $32. I have since found that someone bought one for $25. U.S. So, at these lower prices, worth it? I honestly doubt if I'll use every function, but for what I know, is good enough. How good or bad is it when you measure 1,000 and get a reading of 999.5.? And yes, it's a shame the manual don't tell what the symbols are. Thanks to you I now know. You weren't clear about what the hFE is for - or how to use it.
@KeepOnTesting16 күн бұрын
25-30$ it's worth it 👍 hFE is the transistor tester...a legacy output that still seems alive in 2024.

Just another kind of dirt cheap "DT630" DMM. But with more rugged housing and even a rubber cover. It gets it´s job done. I wouldn´t recommend to use it in the claimed CAT III enviroment, but for CAT II and CAT I it is completly sufficient. And at the pricepoint at 8,- US$ it is even not raising any worries in sacricial mode. Slava Ukraini!
