Man I didn’t expect my non-dominant side to be that rough! I was thinking that it wasn’t so bad to the right but I dropped my hoop to the left😱

Thanks for telling us to learn to spin in both directions. I'd been teaching myself without instruction for two months, and I was getting pretty lopsided.

I found the smart Hoola hoop. I bought Leann Life. It pinches. It didn’t come with a waste wrap like others do. Honestly I prefer my normal Hoola hoop. Perhaps I just need to get used to it but nevertheless, I love Hoola hooping!! Great childhood memories! Now a Great workout tool! Thank You for the video. It was great! Keep it Up !!!

Is it normal to feel like you didnt get a work out? I did this for 20 minutes and didnt feel tired or get my HR up. Hopefully it still will help build muscle still as I'm trying to slim down my waist. For some reason my hoop wont go the other direction(to the right) but no issue getting it to go to the left. Maybe something wrong with my hoop idk.

Interesting...I wonder if it's ok for us guys to try doing hula hooping, too; (or, would I just end up inviting some really strange looks...??? Then, again, one can always choose to do it in 'privacy' of one's own back garden, I suppose)? Warmest congratulations on having made the videos...your workouts are very charming and 'infectious'.

I'm also a guy, and I've had similar reservations. So far, I haven't been able to muster the courage to use the hoop outside. However, I'm sure that one day I'll conquer that fear. It's just idiotic that something so fun and effective (I'm getting the best abs I've had since Crossfit) should be gender-limited, and I want to be part of the solution to that problem. Also, I intend to mix hooping into an exercise plan that includes lots of other things so I'll be known as the Weird Multi-Skills Guy and not just the Weird Hula Hoop Guy. I mean, that's not the main reason I'm multi-skills, but it's an advantage here.

Loved this workout! I finally got what you meant by Flow; after starting a week ago, slowly building the minutes up each day, I’m seeing improvements already! I noticed if I stay out of my head and don’t overthink it, it flows on its own- Oh, and the music in this one is insane : ) to the point that I had to stop and start dancing instead, before continuing! Thanks Scarlett, for sharing!

whether or not you see that as I'm just getting into the weighted hula hoop thing. But I find the hoop tends to drop a little on the left side. And in turn I have to rotate faster to try and keep the hoop more level. Rotating in the opposite direction isn't easy, but gotta keep trying and eventually it happens. That ten minutes went fast.
