I have this on my r6 and I think he forgot to mention the real benefits of it. In my experience - you can adjust the lever closer to the bars but keep the bite point higher, compared to other aftermarket adjustable levers that also adjust the bite point closer to the handle bar, in this case you don't need to 100% squeeze the clutch to get full disengagement, just blip it like 30-50% and it will fully disengage the clutch making faster shift (but does not matter if you have QS) - Also, you can adjust the lever way up high making it easy for dual lever setup, clearing and getting it far away for a rear brake setup These are just my observation compared to other adjustable levers IDK if it's really designed that way.

They're not painted, that's just the colour from manufacturing. They're left like that so you can paint them

You can get them for 1 inch bars, I just got a Brembo RCS15 for my Sportster, Lyndall brakes and Bellismoto sell a 1 inch version of the RCS 15 (Single disc) and RCS19 (Dual disc)
