I love this jet as well I've got about 10 flights on it but I ripped the landing gear out because I fly off extremely rough grass. Every other edf has done this as well. What can I do to possibly brace it up better?

I have an X20S and absolutely love it. Switched from my DX9 and haven’t looked back. I’m considering getting the X14. It looks like it would be a very comfortable radio in the hand. Also it would force me to become familiar with Ethos without using a touchscreen.

what is weight without landing gear and without batt?

nice one...but in my opinion,a 170 is an overkill for that airframe cause its super light...if i was to build it again....i would consider a 100 or a 120 with fuel bag and simplified setup,meaning no pioneer,4 baterries etc etc.

Where can you get the stand?

I don't know anyone that flies some version of a T28 that doesn't love it. Easy to take of, smooth flyer, wide flight envelope, and easy landing. Originally designed and built by North American Aviation, the folks that also brought you the B-25 and the P-51. Nice trifecta!

In our club, we have four of these models, one of which crashed on its maiden flight. The installed ESC has a BEC that is far too weak and cuts out when the landing gear is deployed. Additionally, the motor contacts are not properly soldered and sometimes come loose. In my model, all three contacts were equipped with a cold solder joint. The plane had a higher-quality ESC installed a few years ago (clear shrink wrap).

Thank you for the upload. I have the Red White version of the same plane, Jolly Roger was not in stock when I purchased. I had to add a lot of nose weight to get the plane to CG right with a 4s2200. 120 grams in case anyone wants to know. It is a lot of weight, so landings are going to be tough for the novices. I fly the book High Low rates, I fly on High. It flies well, it rolls well, it flies inverted with little down elevator. It may seem to some that it's not a good plane given the weight to be added, but I have over 70 packs run through it and to me she flies like a champ. I am not disparaging the plane or the brand, for the price point and features, I would still buy another one.
