I have an X20S and absolutely love it. Switched from my DX9 and haven’t looked back. I’m considering getting the X14. It looks like it would be a very comfortable radio in the hand. Also it would force me to become familiar with Ethos without using a touchscreen.

I have a question and it's a little off topic... when you see some people mainly in Europe with very expensive transmitters for giant planes... what kinda transmitter are they typically using and how many channels do they need for a giant turbine jet or very large helicopters? i have nx8..

In Europe I see many Radios like here in the USA. I'd say frsky and spektrum be the most popular. Now for the big planes it depends. When you see those giants they usually use one reciever output ch. Per surface. This way you get most control. Lets say a AF Model turbine l39. You have 4 servos in the wing. 1 for rudder, 2 for elevator, 1 steering. Then 1 ch for throttle, 1 for gear, and one for brakes. This would be 11ch...each it's own ch. Now you could "y" things together but whn people get to the things you talking about. Usually minimum 12ch up 18ch. Also the l39 has an airbrake. You would need 12ch if ya wanted to use that. Channels get used up real quick. My Roban airwolf uses 7ch minimum. Then ass lights, moving rocket pod, guns. Yeah ch. Go quick lol.
