I like the stability of a block built house which seems to be rare in the new house market in the valley. A well built house in an older neighborhood is where I would expect to pay a premium over the new house market. Don't buy a house near a high traffic area or the main arterial roadways. The public transit system is expanding and improving, it is safe and economical to use.

My family has been in Phoenix since 1870. You can drink all the water you want and still be dehydrated; you need electrolytes. Pedialyte is not just for kids, drink a quart a week if you are feeling dehydrated and water is just not doing it for you. Also, prickly pear fruit has heat shock proteins and will lower your body temperature. I pick them and juice them. Stay hydrated my friends. There is a towel called "Frog Tog" they stay wet and cold, wear that around your neck to stay cool. Eat cold food in the summer and hot in the winter. We have dry winters, so keep hydrating even if you don't feel thirsty. I have encountered lots of people with heat stroke, if you feel the slight bit uncomfortable, get out of the heat, it will hit quick. Nice video and welcome to Arizona.
@movingtophoenixarizonaericАй бұрын
I love this - electrolytes are a must

Yuo forgot the easiest tip. Go away. Go back to where you're from or maybe go to another state entirely. We're full, running out of water, not built for the density, and don't want you voting and changing the community. We were good before you got here, so consider leaving if you don't like it and are motivated to try to change how it is here.

More rules: Oven mitts in the car for driving, and Ice water. You may actually find yourself pouring it on your head. :) Don't get into any fights over the one tree in the parking lot for shade! :) Pay attention to "excessive heat " warnings - no outside activity!
