I still can't believe Griffin was with Boston in 2023. Just watching Celtics games and highlights, they'd show the bench and you'd see his ginger hair. Didn't even recognise him at first

It’s sad that his retirement got so overlooked. I don’t think people even remembered he was with the Celtics or in the league in general.

Suns did great this year. They just need a little more time for chemistry. They ran up against the Mavs, who are also a great time. How many games did the series go? It was a hard fought series.

As a Suns fan I'm disappointed with Suns fans that like what Ishbia and Jones have done. Ishbia is no different than Jerry Jones and James Jomes doesn't know how to draft talent peeio😢. Does the Durant trade look so good now with having no talent left?...smh
@nhc777222 күн бұрын
Booker and Durant would have been a good team imo. I still don’t think they would’ve won a chip, but trading for Beal too just made it much worse. I’m not saying Beal sucks, he’s just very injury prone….just like your other 2 stars!!! Terrible team building

Book and KD wanted to play together after the Olympics why KD did what he did. Book needs blame for the explosion. Funny that even with ALL the hate on DA for his play he was never swept! LOL Book/KD or 0-5 in the playoffs! First year of all these super teams don’t workout so we’ll see what happens next year. Point guard is a excuse because Boston doesn’t have a one. The team lacked leadership on the floor

I’m actually going crazy about how GM’s think that you should bring in 2 superstars with injury proneness. Like this isn’t even the first year, or only decade where this has been a problem. If you bring in 1 injury prone player, but he rest of the team are healthy, that’s completely fine, but their big 3 is like 2.5/3 injury prone. Devin Booker is right there, he’s almost injury prone with how often he was out too. Nba players can play 82 games before the post season, do you think it’s a smart idea to bring in a player who can accidentally break his ankle during warm ups? Unless he is LeBron or MJ, do not bring someone that fragile. It’s crazy how GMs actually still do this, and I’m willing to bet this won’t be the last time that a gm will create another clippers or suns team. I’m almost certain this is happening because Kawhi managed to come back after being on and off for like 2 years to win a chip with Toronto and then went back to not being able to play, and these teams think that could be them (which it won’t)

He obviously chose the charlotte hornets because he got to play for his idol MJ, with French teammate Nic Batum, and this team offered him the most playing time. he already won 4 championships, so I can understand why ring chasing wasn't his top priority. he essentially valued playing time over getting another ring, which was probably his plan all along. very weird to see him in a hornets jersey though not gunna lie.

Any trade where you are giving up first round picks after the player retires is insanity. When the dude you're trading for has a history of unhappiness and team jumping, it increases the insanity exponentially. I think the simple fact is KD may be the most overrated player in the nba. He can score like crazy, but when it comes down to demonstrating heart and putting a team on your back, he fails miserably. The only time where his success lived up to his reputation was at Golden State where he was insulated by the rest of the team. Draymond was right. The warriors won before KD and they won after KD. They didn't need him, he needed them.

People dont understand the Beal move. Phx had CP3, an old, overpayed player that didnt even play in the playoffs due to injury. If CP3 left, PHX would still have 0 cap space to work on rounding out the roster. They literally UPGRADED from CP3 to Beal by re-trading some draft swaps that had ALREADY been swaped. They got Beal for nothing.
@teelowteelow35627 күн бұрын
I agree. Many of these commentators don’t know what they are talking about. They were literally about to release CP3 for nothing, I love CP3 but Beal is an upgrade over him at this point

I gotta feel bad for fans of Arizona sports. Beal is the true definition of an empty stats player, not Booker or Trae. He is only useful when the offense runs through him to average 30ppg on a 8th-11th seed, the moment you put him as a second or third option on a team with expectations he becomes a glorified role player.
@nevenpatrk966128 күн бұрын
At least Trae and D Book proved that they can lead a team to a deep run to the playoffs when they have the correct players around them.

I called it during the off-season, the Suns had the perfect team after the Beal trade and they ruined their team for no reason by trading DeAndre Ayton for a bunch of garbage. I don’t care what the narratives made by 14 year olds online are about Deandre Ayton being “soft”. He’s a better player than Jusuf Nurkic, and anybody who would debate that is under the influence of drugs/alcohol. Suns got rid of a talented big man with first round talent, that already had chemistry with their team.
