If the English people in Western parts of England are racially 'Brittonic' rather than Anglo-Saxon, then why have Brittonic languages had zero impact on Old English?

So you've got Britons consuming milk after 1200 BC. Examination1 of ancient dairy fat and protein residues shows that consumption of animal milk began in Anatolia (a region corresponding to the bulk of what is Turkey today) in the seventh millennium bc. By 5000 bc, this behaviour had spread across Europe2 and the Eurasian steppe3,4, and into northern Africa5

You get 6 months without sun light in Norway now a days so that most be why! also at that time people had like 40 kids, so the kids of the immigrants (brown eye people) married the blue eye kids and their mixed kids married another blue eye people ( boom blue eyes for everybody again)! now a day it doesn't happens that way because the immigrants have 40 kids but the blue eye people barely have one kid, so the immigrants ( brown eye people) have to marry another brown eye person or the mixed kid have to marry another brown eye kid!

In the articles about the ancient Turks, green eyes and red hair are mentioned (in Chinese sources). Did the ancient Turks mix with the Mongols and transfer their mongoloid features to the present day?

if i couldn't drink milk i would just drink soda and lemonade and nothing else. i guess to iron age people it was mostly alcoholic drinks or water and maybe apple juice. so being able to drink milk would have been nice and make life less miserable. being more healthy than alcohol but having actual taste

Although they may have been well into milk, lactose tolerance in the UK to the levels we see today only happened really recently. Some time in the past 200-300 years or so, also if you look across how lactose tolerant other Europeans are they arent nowhere near as tolerant as we are...

Good video. Ive aways found it fascinating and also a bit weird that so many of the indigenous population of Ireland (96%), have the highest level of the genetic mutation of lactose persistence in the world. The second highest is in the indigenous population of Britain ( 94% ). Other north west European countries have high lactose persistence too. But large parts of the world dont have these genes. Vietnam is 100% intolerant. Basically you can draw a line going south east, down the map of the world and the percentage of the population of the countries with the lactose persistence gene, decreases as you go further south and east. There are some exceptions though, like populations of people in Africa that were traditionally reliant on animal milk. Why is lactose tolerance so high in theses countries? Archaeologists have speculated that there must have been times of great starvation, when all crops and most animals had died, which lead humans in Ireland and Britain, to be extremely reliant, on the milk of the domestic animals, to keep them alive. Thus pushing the evolutionary pressure even more in favour of people who had this mutation for lactose tolerance/persistence. At these times if you didnt have that gene you were much likely to die of starvation. There was nothing else to eat. I agree with your first theory, but Im not sure about the connection with hillforts.

The lactose tolerance world map seems to have 4 epicentres - Northern Europe, Western Africa, Central Arabia, and the Southwestern region of Pakistan. It seems the further you are from one of these epicentres the more likely you are to be intolerant. East Asians and most other Africans are almost entirely unable to digest dairy!

@His-Soldier Your right, that they indeed had rheir own tribal names of themselves but as a whole they are called the celts since The Roman Northern Expantion. That is when and where we get the Word Ga'ul or Ga'el in Native Celt, tho with various pronunciation. Like I don't think everyone in the middle east called it Mesopotamia but we know the land and Civilization as it's Title tho there is Elamites, Amorites, Sumeria, Akkadia, Babylonian, Ect, ect.

Zebu cattle were domesticated in India 8,000 years ago, and milk was being consumed by the beginning of the Indus Valley Civilization about 5,300 years ago. It's unlikely that milk consumption began in Britain.
