Hey! I'm planning on doing this body kit soon and the only thing I didn't hear you mention was the parking sensors in the front. How did you get them to function?
@RebuildEverythingАй бұрын
I drilled new holes in the body kit to fit the sensors, then I panel bonded the sensor bracket onto the back of the body kit. They work perfectly fine now and look great
@Dakota-if3ifАй бұрын
@@RebuildEverything sounds easy enough did you need any type of extension or did the original sensor work? And was the location super specific or just mark where the old on was and brought it forward?
@RebuildEverythingАй бұрын
@@Dakota-if3if ya it was pretty simple, if I remember correctly the body kit had a little indention where to drill the hole and the wire was long enough to pull through
@Dakota-if3ifАй бұрын
I know this video is a little old but I'm about to run the same setup and was curious how you worked out the parking sensors. I didn't hear you mention that and I don't want to lose those features for the kit.

Do you have a list of the parts and pricing on what you spent on the build. Really awesome love your work!!!
@howtoinvest4yourself2412 ай бұрын
That is super cool. I wish I had the Balls to do the same thing to my car... I am super worried I will mess up the Cutting or something when it comes to the Wide Body kit. I can do everything else ... like the exhaust and the Shocks and things like that... but bodywork I have never really done before... only repairs of rust on a truck lid that is all.

Thanks for the sub! But ya it’s not ideal for the filters to be so close but there aren’t that many options when doing the x pipe, V2 of this build will include an air to water inter cooler that should help with intake temps

You're the only one i've seen remove the cat without removing the actual full exhaust, bravo. The only thing holding me back was that I didn't want to remove the entire exhaust to change the cat, the way you did it made it look doable without removing everything. I'm finna buy a catted DP now (just because I don't like the smell of catless).
@RebuildEverything Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Its totally doable without removing everything, just make sure whatever cat you buy doesn't change the connection size on the bottom. Other than that it should be no problem to swap out, there's plenty of wiggle room in the rubber exhaust hangers to disconnect everything! Good luck!
