In todays video I will be painting and installing the rest of my custom built 4 link suspension and getting the Jeep back on it own wait for the first time!
I didn't start filming KZfaq videos until after the fabrication was complete so this video series is pretty much just me painting, testing, and driving.

All that work and to keep the Dana 44. smh. I spent a good bit on an East Coast Gear Supply fully built Ford 8.8. Tried to go ahead and stretch it out with coilovers and a 4-link. The outboard shocks were too close to the 37" tires. That axle ended up not even seeing a trail before I sold it and went with 1-tons. The incremental upgrades will drain your bank account big time. Now just think what your're going to do when you want 40" tires? Not hating on your work, just speaking from someone who did the same thing you did here, and wished I went have went all in from the jump.

I appreciate the feedback, but to me personally I don’t think the cost/benefit ratio is worth it just to run bigger tires on the TJ platform. Don’t get me wrong I really considered it but I’ve never needed to run anything larger than 35’s. If I was to spend 10-20k dollars on axles, brakes, gears, and lockers on a vehicle that can’t really benefit from it because the wheelbase is already so short and the engine struggles already to go highway speeds, I would just buy a JK or newer that can just handle 37’s on the stock axles.

Nice rig!!! What’s the rear axle? Do you have any rubbing issue between tires and coilovers when flexing?

It’s a Dana 44, when I first put the wheels on they did seem a little close but did not rub. I added some 1” wheel wheel spacers for additional clearance just to be safe

@@RebuildEverything got an update any rubbing? I’m tossing 14” kings on the rear of my rubicon just curious if your rubbing at all on the coils?

Thanks! I don't really have any specs, the entire suspension is custom from front to back using a mixture of brackets, trusses and joints from Artec, Genright, and Ballistic Fab. The front is a 3 link and the rear is a 4 link. The body armor and fenders are all Genright. The overall lift height is about 5-6". If you have any specific questions fell free to ask!

They are King 2.5" x 14" coilovers
