Does UAE offer citizenship? My knowledge says no, so why move fully out from a country that gives you citizenship? What happens when you are unemployed in UAE?

I’m still a Canadian citizen if I don’t live there. If you’re unemployed you need to leave. But I don’t have that issue as I run my own company

I suggest probably traveling to nice places in every 4 month depending on your preferred location. So you can actually stay focused and consistent on your goals.

I am retired, and by definition ,kind of rich (I don't feel that). Substantial gains in my holding company. Consulted with my accountant. I am staying in Canada. I 'd have to pay ridiculous money just to get out. I wish you all the best. The sooner you leave, the better. If you stay too long, it might be extremely painful in case you made it in Canada.

I think the big difference between you and the other influencers you've come across is that you're an actual businessman whose got a serious job and needs to focus on that, while others from what I'm guessing, are getting sponsored and not worried about maintaining a business? If all you're doing is going someplace to have fun and show off on social media, then living off sponsorships seems easy enough. Not so if you're heading up your own company. That's just my take. One thing I do wonder about, I get moving month to month would be hard if you're working. How about if you move less frequent, say, every four months to six months? Would that be easier?

You can explore ancient temples, go on a safari to see elephants, or relax on the beautiful coastline. It’s truly a tropical paradise!

Loved the video, Very informative Thank You. I can definitely relate to Tuomas in some areas.. Can you make a detailed video about every box we need to check before considering moving to Dubai?... Total Amount we need to sustain living for the first year (House, Utility, Etc), Average Monthly Income, Total Amount of Emergency Funds (If we need it) and more.. I want to relocate in the future and Im trying to prepare myself for the day; but I don't know what I need to consider or Where to start that makes sense. I know for sure I'll need money to make this happen but I don't know how much? Do I need $50K - 100K? Im speaking from a single persons perspective.. Why I want to move? Well the first year is just getting away from what Im used to.And Growing businesses, Starting businesses, Creating Investments, Increasing wealth. Education and Personal Beliefs. Properly setting myself up, and enjoying the countries weather and what it has to offer. Currently reside in Canada born and raised and its ok but not the best place for this.

2 quick question what if the only investment I have is in crypto and I decide not to sell, leave Canada cut residential ties move to UAE, and then sell there? Do I still have to pay exit tax if that's my only investment? Am I going to have to pay capital gain tax if I sell in UAE since I bought in Canada? Many thanks.
@Life-With-Tim
@Life-With-Tim 19 күн бұрын
It doesn’t matter where you sell if you acquired the asset in Canada and it has a gain you’ll need to pay the capital gains tax (realized or unrealized) when you leave the country
@Life-With-Tim
@Life-With-Tim 19 күн бұрын
Let’s say you have $50k in crypto that has a $25k gain. If you don’t sell it you’ll owe ~$6.25k as a deemed disposition when you leave. If you do sell it you’ll owe $6.25k as a realized capital gain. Meaning in each scenario you’ll owe the same amount just the name and type of tax you’ll pay will be different
@Gathalok
@Gathalok 18 күн бұрын
@@Life-With-Tim What if I don’t sell, pay the $6.25K deemed disposition ($25K unrealized gain at the time), and then sell in UAE at a much later date when my gains climb even further to $40K (lets say ~$10K capital gain tax). Will I owe the government another $10K or $3.75K since I’d already paid $6.25K on this investment when I left?

as long as they are non dependants of yours you are fine (i.e they support themselves). You can keep your Canadian properties as long as they are ALL rented out. You cannot keep a home in Canada as your personal residence.

Thank you for making this. Some of the points you talked about (wokeness, indoctrination of children, c0v!d, jab, mandates, convoy, freezing of bank accounts) are very true, but what scares me more is 80% of Canadians will fiercely defend these with their lives and will even go all out to ostracize you (cancel, get you fired, public shaming, report you to snitch lines - yes BC has got a new one) etc. And I say this as a fairly new-ish non-white immigrant. What happened in the week of February 13, 2022, was bone-chillingly horrific, and I still can't believe to this day that most people in this country haven't realized the utter tyranny of the events that unfolded that week.

Honestly pretty funny video man you’re scared to walk in public in Canada? Lol scared to live in Canada but you suggest even moving to MEXICO or USA 😂 You also say how our medical care is overburdened by immigrants who are taking advantage of our healthcare (completely true our healthcare is overburdened under funded/staffed) but here’s Mr foreigner in another country benefiting from its policies although different because you’re there to financially benefit rather than immigrants here in Canada that are usually here from countries much poorer and less developed looking for a better life like our government has advertised itself as for decades. Glad you left pal and good riddance :)
