Sound good, look shite unfortunately. The original exhausts look great just a shame they’re so quiet.

Brilliant to see from BB owner UK, what an amazing achievement when you think about how old these bikes are now, keeping the BB flag flying.

Nice bike for a ZX12 in 2023 = Classic. Had same black ZX12, progressed to a brand new ZX14 in 2007 - massive change, however, the ZX12's main seat is much better than the ZX14. Enjoy brother!

I would love to announce that I am the new owner of this magnificent machine, so much fun and underestimated by so many other bikes. Nothing better than launching and gapping them and the next set of lights you just get asked WTF?

Had a 97 Blackbird for 11 years, installed a Gen 2 Busa entire front end w custom triple to accomodate LSL bar kit. Loved that bike and sold it off at 115km, my mate sold his 02 off at 210km. Just picked up a 2000 ZX12R w 41km on it bone stock. Looking forward to riding it home across Canada coming summer from Ontario to BC. Really love Kawasawki, had a 14 and then a beautiful 2000 ZX9R w numerous mods, regret selling it, not so much the 14, they put off too much heat even though it had second fan mod, was an 08. Got a new 2020 H2 SX SE , kept it 3 years, hands down best bike ever, issue was could not ride em all so retained ZX11 and added a 12R

I'm always amazed at how well Blackbirds hold their resale price so well, but I guess that's down to honda build quality and cult status, a true modern day classic, I love mine and I don't think that I will ever sell it, it's just good at pretty much everything, oh and still feckin quick even by modern standards...

I had a Blackbird almost new in 2003, best bike ever by a country mile! Is it possible to fit a quick -shifter? surely it would eliminate a few 10ths of a second, or are they against the rules on drag races?

Recently sold my 04 - ZX12R - Midnight Nlue with Gold Trim - only had 17.000 miles. Still have Extra Seats, Front Shield, Specialized Front Triple Tree Lift for working on front wheel or forks, Chrome Grab Rail For tge Pylon Seat, I installed a Dino Hinged Pilon Seat Lift, REPLACED the rear cush pads, fresh coolant, oil, filter and plugs (those were fun). Bought used but with only 5,000 miles and like brand new for a little over $8000. Seller had to sell everything to return to France. I sold for $5000, broke my heart, but at 74, I moved over to a 1800 GoldWing Trike. Doing 150 -180 + on a Sports Bike with slower reaction times isn't smart. I'll be trying to sell all the extras I didn't give the buyer.....Funny thing is, with 3 other bikes, I needed to clear up garage space, so The Zx12R made the least sense to keep. Went up to furl it around the corner, a man and his son were fueling his truck next to me, said he lived the bike and was shocked when I took off my helmet and he saw my gray & balding hair. I said I wss thinking about selling it, gave him a price, a few hours later we were liading it in his trailer. I LOVED THAT BIKE, it was big and heavy, but was so easy to control once you started moving. I also had the Muzzy Rear Doglegs and Billit adjustible side kick stand, with the front adjusted lower. With a 30" inseam it's difficult to find a bike with a low seat height. I kept the bike pretty much stock , only using bolt ons, I even still had the Titanium Stock Exhaust Pipe on it. Dam I shoulda kept it. But I also have a 1983 Kawasaki 1100 Spectre, Black&Gold....it even has a STOCK LOCKING CENTER STAND. Ride on & Ride Safe my fellow bikers.
