Seems too complicated to simply get a larger shift paddle....🤔
@C3Mods
@C3Mods 2 күн бұрын
The purpose is to be able to pull the right one back to shift up and to pull the left one back to shift down. The OEM ones allow you to use both to shift up and down, but to shift up you have to push the paddle forward. And it’s not really that complicated, but that’s why I make these videos, to show people how to do it.

An auxiliary fuel tank must add weight to the Jeep. Have noticed any decrease in the mileage per gallon?
@C3Mods
@C3Mods 2 ай бұрын
Yes, the tank is heavy gauge steel so it acts as its own skid plate. Gasoline weighs 6.3 lbs per gallon, so it adds about 107 lbs in fuel. The Hemi swap with the 5 speed auto averages 12.2 mpg. So the aux tank brings the travel range back to the stock tank and the 3.6. With all the mods on our Jeep it weighs in just over 6000 lbs.

@C3Mods
@C3Mods 3 ай бұрын
I didn’t list any measurements for the brackets because they were a different size for each seat. Corbeau actually sells the brackets to fit jeeps, but they wouldn’t fit over the gun boxes. If you don’t have those, I would recommend just getting their seat tracks.
@patrickj5683
@patrickj5683 3 ай бұрын
Thank you for the note. I may try to re use existing brackets for the mobility aspect. To not trigger any lights did you keep the stock brackets installed and removed the seat from the base while in there? Seems like that was the case but didn’t know. As for the driver and passenger thin bracket; you just flipped those upside down and swapped them?
@C3Mods
@C3Mods 3 ай бұрын
@@patrickj5683 I took the seats out of the Jeep with the brakes on them. It’s easier that way. Then I took the brakes off the seats and put them back in the Jeep to take my measurements. It’s was a pretty long process. I made two identical brackets and I didn’t work for both seats. Don’t know why. I ended up having to make another bracket for the other seat. Getting the seat belts to work was the hard part. Watch the video again to see that. A lot of cutting and fabrication and welding.
