This was very helpful. Thanks for posting. I wound up removing the driver side catalytic converter to get more room to work.

HeyJohn, was happy to see these videos start up again...good stuff here with the oil cooler....wonder why they don't just come standard from the factory with those; or do they for certain trims?

The Z06s do, and the early C6 Z51s used to, but it was built into the radiator. These stand alone ones are more efficient. My C7 GS has one, but not near as good as the Improved Racing one.

It’s a triumph brand lift. 8000lbs. It got it off Amazon because they have free shipping. It’s $500 shipping if you order it from a dealer.

after the new upgrade do you have to add more oil for the engine or the same amount?

The oil cooler holds 2 quarts of oil, so yes. When I change the oil I only put in the 5 quarts and then start it and let the oil temp get up past 180 so the oil thermostat opens and oil flows into the cooler. Then I shut it off and fill it till it’s at the full level on the dip stick. It holds 7 quarts total.
