The floating concrete block in the harbour was supposed to be a makeshift jetty that could be towed somewhere and sunk for access to ships berthing on it. The prisons one was a borstal the other a man prison. Loads of history in portland the extreme south harbour entrance was blocked by hms Hood the 1st ww ship not the battleship, cirrent is to great to dive on it, was sunk there to prevent submarines entering

I think I'd be asking head office for a freedom of information request and also their policies as to who has the permissions/insurance to despatch vermin on the site and what is their consideration of a safe backstop when firing into the air in an upward angle..... With a sub 12ftlb air rifle firing a slug @ 14 grains it will still retain energy around 7 ftlb @ 50 meters, that's around how far it is to the public highway outside the depot.... If there were shots taken while the drone was hovering above the the white car in the 3rd bay, I would say that in my opinion, any possible slugs fired at that angle from that window that missed their intended target, would likely have travelled out past the gate into the public. Your flying at Nothe Fort was totally irresponsible . From your location much of the time it would have been impossible to have sight of your drone. You also actually mention that when flying over the children they were jumping up at the drone so it’s pretty clear you were flying over the group who were not involved with the shoot so clearly against the rules. Sadly it’s because of people like you that ultimately done rules will be tightened up making recreational drone use a thing of the past. I’m amazed that Dorset Police haven’t been in touch with you yet !
