Gender role reveals type of sex? Gender identity is sex identity? Gender roles overtook sex roles in 1990? Gender means how much masculinity or feminity a person has?

Fascinating …I really enjoyed this talk Matti Eklund. I’m trying to wrap my mind around your book Choosing Normative Concepts. I’ve done a small summary on my channel. Doing a masters at the moment.

"anti ableist movement" they really just ignore the metaphysical and very direct power of their choice of words and definitions due to their massively arrogant savior complex.

How strange and shocking that Ann Oakley’s seminal work Sex, Gender and Society (1972) is completely omitted from this overview. Her very lucid exposition of the necessary difference between the terms in meaningful usage could have assisted greatly. Moreover this was a formative work in the development of second-wave feminism. For this reason alone it needs inclusion because Butler’s Queer theory is an ideological coup that has obscured the distinction and has also taken over the humanities, not only with ghastly neologisms but the destruction of scientific study and understanding of the biology of sex, the replacement of sex by gender, and the replacement and erasure of women’s studies by gender studies. This is the end of any meaningful notion of ‘feminism’ in academe of course. No sex, no woman, no feminism. Please don’t just talk about Money and Stoller but put the feminist work back in. Of course gender role is a meaningful term! How could you talk about what it refers to in society without it?! Is this an attempt to deny the disciplines of anthropology and sociology altogether? What about Margaret Mead for that matter? Gender roles are a central concept in the current debate because many feminists believe that trans activism, rather than challenging normative (and oppressive) gender roles, are reinforcing them.

Margaret Mead’s 1935 work, Sex and and Temperament in Three Primitive Societies, and the huge controversy it generated (still being carried on by evolutionary psychologists who need to stamp on her grave) would not have been meaningful if sex were replaced by gender in the title. For that matter, what about evolutionary psychology and its usage of the terms? It needs to be understood what is behind the replacement of sex by gender and why feminists who haven’t drowned in post modernist ideology are resisting it. Only the other day an amendment to a bill in Scotland was passed that said to replace the word gender by sex. And that was about pushback by women to the trans activist agenda. Not to deny trans people human rights of course, but to stop the erasure of women as a sex, putting them instead in some marginalised ghetto of cis people

I have four questions about the emergence of life before the oxygen in the earth 4 billion years ago The first question is how RNA is formed in shallow ponds or deep ocean In volcanic trenches The second question is where RNA is formed Has RNA been formed from amino acids or protein? The third question How is the cell membrane formed for the first time? The fourth question about the presence of RNA with the membrane Is RNA formed within the cell membrane How RNA was associated with the cell membrane ? Please communicate my four questions to researchers in chemistry We need answers based on monitoring and scientific experiments
