So as far as I understand, VFS Visa Applications on or after 1st September have to show a total of 11,904 Euros in their blocked account, BUT, people who have already reached Germany [with 11,208 Euros in their blocked account] and applied for a residence card on or after 1st September must also show 11,904 Euros in the blocked account [during their residence permit appointment]. Therefore it's better for all to carry 11,904 in their blocked account from the start. As for those who have already received their residence permit [or applied for it] on or before 31st August, then 11,208 is sufficient for them.

Hello, I was having a query regarding APS. My APS was rejected before as i was not having my Bachelors Degree but now i have the Provisional Certificate. Can I RE-Apply for the APS ? Actually I have applied today but the APS Site was not accepting my application and stated that to use a NEW PASSPORT NUMBER. As a representative from vfs came and helped with all the steps like documents checking, setting them in proper order and also took them for faster process although biometric took time as there was huge line for that also specially for students the biometric officer was asking few questions like why Germany,what’s special about this particular uni.. It took almost 2-3 hrs…
