Hi nice project. Can you a video on your mix and ingredients. In metric 😊
@ogfoundation
@ogfoundation 2 күн бұрын
@@moniqueklop4740 yes, I will either make a video explaining that and/or show that in the next episode. It is quite simple- each batch uses one part Portland cement and 3 parts sand. Which is half a bag of cement powder (47 of 94 lb) and 3 buckets of sand, mixed w/ enough water to serve the purposes the mix is used for.

@@moogiesretirementhaven2265 I usually add a pinch of fiberglass fibers in each batch, though it's not necessary. If doing a ferrocement floor/for decking, remesh is recommended to spread the load. Are you thinking of doing a ferrocement floor on top of the wooden floor joists there now?

@@moogiesretirementhaven2265 ahh, I see what you mean! Very nice, i haven't seen a deck like that b4. Looks like a great spot- is that a new pond? Btw, I can't comment on the video b/c you selected that it's made for kids, which restricts it. If you ever wanted to make the deck ferrocement, itd just be the underside that'd be difficult. But if you could get a form underneath each section, you probably wouldn't need any lath or remesh

What are you doing to bond each coat of cement to the next? Latex cement?

@@athenry water is all that's necessary for Portland cement to bond to the previous coat. Whether in the mix so it's wet & sticky, or by pre-watering the surface. Also, when doing several layers in a couple days, the uncured cement is easier to bond w/ than fully cured.

@@ogfoundation Interesting to hear, That you too have roots here. You have the right approach there, to stay calm and patient, no matter what happens. If your neighbour is so reckless that he has destroyed your property, if you have CCTV, consider setting up a "trap" which could provoke him to repeat that, this time on camera. Maybe some kind of warning sign or Trump sign could trigger him? Cheers!

I noticed KZfaq is shadow shadowing Bitcoin cash in the algorithms. Because I've been watching a lot of Bitcoin videos not a single suggestion came up for Bitcoin cash. I had to search Bitcoin cash specifically to start finding those videos. But yeah I do think Bitcoin cash is going to be the place to be, there seems to be a renewed Grassroots support for it. It's my understanding that Bitcoin cash is actually the real original Bitcoin, and I think others are finding that now, and with the new book coming out by Jesus, I think bch is going to rock. Ps, careful with venmo it's my understanding that the payments are reversible.

Do you have a generator? Imo power lines are a way to put down workers - like the vaccine. However a generator isn't capable of nuclear power (unless it's a big jet engine or something). Internet cables are good though, just not overhead power lines.

When I was building my boat, I used hard points because the core between the carbon fiber skins was not crush resistant and wouldn't hold hardware. For a large hard point, the core was hollowed out and a piece of plywood was epoxied in to mount winches and hardware on. The alternative method for a smaller hard point is augering out a hole and filling with epoxy, then drill/screw into the epoxy.
