hello,I just want to use one earphone and don't want to be tired of switching devices all the time depending on the type of music. I listen to 80% classical and 20% jazz and pop. I have also seen the audeze mm500 so far, and I think the instrument part is quite good, and the vocals are in the front, so the female voice sounds good. Do you recommend other headphones at this level? I think the sound field of the mm500 is okay. For classical music, the instrument tone is not too modified. , the low-frequency dive is enough for jazz. I don’t know if I understand this right?
@micandcamproАй бұрын
I think the mm500 are great for that. Once i had the fostex th 900 for testing, and those blew me away, in terms of voice reproduction in an opera, and also acoustic bass reproduction they were the best I had to this date! They're a bit more expensive but worth every penny: amzn.to/3WUBpkp I tested those on my German channel if you're interested: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/msB4ibpl1araqIE.htmlsi=zA1hTwYoWkp33PhL

An meinem Mac isses egal. Nochmals danke, dass du mich mit deinem Video darauf aufmerksam gemacht hast. Gruß Armin

There is a problem with your Beyerdynamic 770 or recording. The sound of 770 is much better than this test.
@micandcampro2 ай бұрын
This way of testing is only for comparison. There is no way to replicate the true sound accurately because of my mics and the hardware used to play back the video. It was only to illustrate the differences between factory new and burnt in.
@jaydenstowe75882 ай бұрын
What's the best burn in track what one did you use
@micandcampro2 ай бұрын
I used a track that incorporates different artificial sounds like white noise, frequency sweeps and stuff like that. It's from an app called "JLab Store". They sell earphones and offer a burn in track within the app / on soundcloud.
@soulstart892 ай бұрын
the bass on the second track you compared was much more defined on the 900 open back?!?!? normally that's a area they lack

thanks for the video. as you have the dt 770, 700 pro x and the new 770 pro x could you do a comparison of the three? Im looking to get one of the above or audio technica m50x for bass guitar silent practice. You comparsion between the 770 and 700 showed a drastic difference in sound. The 700 had a open and natural sound where as the 770 sounded honky.

With my Senn. HD 400 Pro's I can confirm your comments. I'm also interested to buy a closed back these days, what do you think of the DT 770 Pro X (I'm worried if its is too V shaped?) or is the 700 pro x better for you? I'm looking for an alternative flavor to use with HD 400 pro's for mixing ( my wife hates the sound bleed out of this openback at night in out small apartment :) )
@micandcampro2 ай бұрын
The 770 Pro-X are in deed a little V-ish. Just like the 770 pro, the top end and also the upper mid section is a little pronounced. Not in a bad way, they're great for mixing, but all in all the 700's deliver a more even and less fatiguing sound on my opinion...
@Barredecharge2 ай бұрын
You just put your DT 770 pro X to the normal state of use, the headphone and cushion sit better on your head, drivers ( speakers ) are moving better ( moving pieces that don't move or put to rest in a box gets rigid over time ) when I say moving better, they move like normal now like how they should.
@micandcampro2 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree. I also talked to the development guys at Beyerdynamic and they confirmed, the drivers don't get burnt in in the factory and also the stellar.45's doesn't even need that kind of treatment. Simply use them as normal, no need for any special shenanigans. 👍 Without the direct a-b comparison nobody ever would recognize any difference in sound at all.

I listen in BD700PROX ;D with my eyes closed and I don't hear any difference at all. Perhaps you forgot to lubricate the cable with “ski wax”. meme from @stalker29218 if you know him a little :) ps. and don't forget to warm up your new headphones in the oven ❤

Haha, i totally understand you! I hate notches, punchholes magic isles and all that kind of crap... It's the reason why i have this thing! It's a Poco F2 Pro. Basically it's a rebranded xiaomi. amzlink.to/az0wrkbexEa8k It's kinda old but still performing smooth as silk (have it since late 2019, never resetted it since and running android 12). I can still absolutely recommend this phone! If you want to get a brave new flagship without notch, maybe this would be the one: amzlink.to/az0WpZYHM3rxM If I'd have the money, I'd get this one 😅

I have these headphones and they are the quietest pair I have. This is not good, I don’t mean noise cancellation, I mean, my cheaper headphones all sound MUCH LOUDER! Now, idk if this has anything to do with them being “mixing” headphones but they don’t sound as powerful as a $250 headphone should sound. I kinda feel like I got ripped off.😒

That's weird, if i plug them into my laptop i have to turn the volume way down, compared to all my other cans. And i mean WAY down, like 12% for normal listening levels... 🤔

Best review I've seen on headphones. I have the DT770 and the sound check in this video reveals exactly the kind of frequencies that I have to EQ out on my mixes all the time, while the Pro X sounds much more natural. When my DT770s die I will get the Pro X.

@@micandcampro That's true in the case of the drivers, but I already have both thin cables that come out from the top into the head support wearing out. They are now isolated with duct tape and I'm expecting them to brake soon.

Ok, but if it's fixed with duct tape, it probably won't break any time soon either, as long as you don't spray WD40 on it 😂
