Probably one of the richer neighbourhoods, yeah. Ha, yes filming in the off months can make it look like that with the colder weather but all the tourists are back now! It's a godsend to see the blooms and greenery after 6 months of desolate winter mate.

Lol well it's a quiet neighbourhood on a quiet day. If you look you can find many areas of the city that are relatively peaceful - it's not too big. The more downtown tourist and shopping areas can always get quite crowded.

It was very cold! I can't remember exactly, somewhere around -16 with the wind its at the start of the walk. They are quite distinct, Gatineau is very French with smaller more old-fashioned streets, although to a casual observer they look quite similar. Gatineau is small though without much of a 'downtown', it's more a sprawl of suburbs. Haha, I suppose you could say it lives in the shadow of Ottawa but they wouldn't say that. A lot of people who live there work in Ottawa.

I find the editing fun, though it would be faster if it didn't take KZfaq 5 hours to upload and process it. 😅 Winterlude goes on for three weekends and two weeks, roughly 17 days. There's rotating events throughout the total period though the weekends, especially the first, get the most action. I suppose it is a Canada thing, we pretty much have to! Though as you can see in the video, we haven't had much of a winter this year - the temperatures have been mild with not much snowfall so it's been easier to embrace this year. 😊
