I had a 68 GT 428 police once I rebuilt the suspension system l and a few other things it did squat like a general motors car it would literally jump off the ground until I got used to the new suspension figurative zero to 104 seconds and that ain't no lie I did that many times

It’s “to each his own” , and you gotta love a ford, as long as it’s Chevy shook.. now as far as hot rods go, I’d say pre 1955 , you’ll find more than half the fords are small block Chevy powered, and today, a hot rod isn’t about having a huge check book, it’s about building something cool, fast, and with your own hands., you have obviously not gone out and priced what it costs to build an engine that can make 500 plus hp., coyote engines are great, sound great, but I can buy / build 6 , LS engine for the cost of one built coyote.. and even getting a donor engine, there just aren’t a lot of coyotes in bone yards, the LS came in just about every Chevy, gmc, Cadillac, Saab, hummer, so the bone yards are just lined up with them… a dime a dozen..

I also have a 1964 GMC 6500(RED)...but some poachers stole my driver's side door...and I was wondering if you guys knew were I could find a replacement door...I want some work done to it...the pistons are busted...so I would live to do and engine swap and air suspension pkg...I eventually want to go fully custom...but I just want to get it running and I will do other customization work in spurts...do u think u could assist me with the initial project?

most guys at least diehard ford guys including myself why would you ruin a beautiful ford by putting a chevy motor in it, ya couldnt pay me to drive the damn thing now, this would be like putting a coyote in a old corvette, ford guys wouldnt want the chevy and chevy guys wouldnt want the ford engine. makes no sense to me, but each his own
