Getting right to the roots of Hot Rodding you will find most fellas would've swapped a Chevy into their sweet Ford body. This Short Bed "Fridge" builder made the same great choice in my opinion by swapping an LS-based motor that runs great and sounds great with the fresh dual exhaust. It has airbags in the back along with an air management system that hasn't been hooked up since the swap and runs and drives without but if you want to raise the rear, it's all there. We picked up this rig from a local builder who did the swap and just about finished up. We've been cruising it around a bit and even to a car show last weekend. The beautiful original steel and paint make this an extremely rare truck to find. It has just a couple of things left to make this an amazing daily driver. Currently, the main thing on the list is the steering box needs to be swapped out. (It pulls to the right) If I kept it, I'd consider a Crown Vic or rack and pinion swap to give it the best driving experience. If you've priced out decent Short Beds or an LS Swap, you know this is an amazing deal!
